This year, I am most thankful that my DH is not on orders through the Air National Guard (He did 15 months, starting right after 9/11 and finished at the end of 2002. Luckily, he was only stationed at his base which is about two and a half hours from our home, so he was home on weekends, but it was still a very long and stressful time).
I am also thankful for my health. I know, if you look at everything on my signature, one might ask how I could be thankful? Well, I am thankful that I was working on becoming healthier before we found out about the cancer, and my doctor has told me that if I hadn't been working out, it would have taken us longer to find out about the cancer, and the tumor could have eaten through my entire leg bone. I am also tolerating the chemo very well, which the doctor attributes to my being healthier when the cancer was discovered (well, that, and the fact that I am only 27!).
Of course, I am thankful for my DS4 and DSD10, and all of our extended family as well.
So what are you thankful for?
