Statistics: Central Limit Theorum & Facebook. Our teacher has officially lost control over us :)
Semantics: Biased language
Sociology: Discrimination (watching Hotel Rwanda)
(study period I go to the library and sit on the computer some more)
Keyboarding: This class is a joke; we're currently learning to key business letters and interoffice memorandums (memos).
Anatomy: Finishing up the nervous system
Biochem: just finished a bioinformatics project; starting the proteins chapter
 
Well my school year is winding down, my last day is this friday, then i have exams.

Functional French 4: Review, just finished learning conditionnel passe & pronoms personels.
Modern Theatre Studies: Studying the play Equus, just finished Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Narrative Analysis: Review/Just finished analyzing scenes from Citizen Kane
Intro Psychology: Dream Interpretations & Stress Factors
 
Exploring Human Behavior: Altered states of consciousness
Algebra II: Polynomials and fake substitution or something
Us History II: I don't even know.
Lunch: Eating
Chorus: Singing - Chichester Psalms, Serenade to Music, Swing music
Chemistry: I don't know this either.
Gym: Nothing.
 
Spanish Medieval Golden Literature: Lazarillo del Tormes, a novel, in Spanish
Technology and American Pop Culture (History): Quiz on By the Bomb's Early Light (a book about all facets of all reactions after Nagasaki and Hiroshima) and the Space Race
Sociology of the American Family: Race and poverty issues
Intro to Journalism Writing: Hard news stories and the future of journalism
Advanced Beginner Ballet: "uve, uve, fayeeee, padevore, shut-up-teacher-please-i-hate-this-class." self-explanatory.
 

History - Umm..growth of american society. Talks about all the canals and roads.
Worldview - Hmm..oh yeah, we have to write research papers on either abortion, euthanasia, slavery in the 21st century, stem cell research or some other one. I'm not sure what to do
Math - Ugh. I don't even know. So very confusing.
English - Parts of speech
Art - I'm drawing narwhals
Spanish - Spanish..dur
Physical Science - Hmm..I don't remember
 
Geo-Phys. Science- Astronomy
English- AP prep
US History 1- Dred Scott decision
Spanish 4- Who knows? I'm proud when I can just stay awake in that class
Personal Finance- budgeting
Algebra 2- Something...complicated.
Psychology- Freudian stages of development and AP prep.
 
"study hall" - perfecting the art of gossip haha
calculus and vectors - something about solving vectors in 3 space.. i dunno
chemistry - bonds or something.. todays lesson was on crystal lattices
biology - DNA structurs and synthesis and all that stuff
 
Science: uhh, I honestly dont even know.
Art: Im making a mask of Walt Disney!
Math: Factoring ?
Italian: Health and the Body.
Social Studies: World War 2
Business: Stupid we just sit there and to nothing.
Gym: :P Hockey
English: Were reading Diary of Anne Frank and The Pearl.
 
Geometry: something to do with arcs and angles
Chemistry: just finished stoic with molarity, now starting acid/base
West: ancient rome
English: i have no idea, my teacher doesn't do anything
French: reviewing futur and conditionel
 
Algebra 2 H: Just started chapter 7, decay and growth...things...with a long crazy name...
Biology 1 H: Ecology
Word History H: Finishing up the Crusades
Keyboarding: Hahaha oh you're serious? I'm going along in Microtype. We work at our own pace, really. Learning something "new" today (that I've most likely already done woo hoo)
Spanish 2 H: Teacher never in. Grr. We WERE reviewing the preterite, though.
English H: Watching the Great Expectations movie; then starting The Pearl.
Gym: Pickleball! :laughing:
 
World History-WWII, Holocaust.
English-The Birds.
Physical Science-Periodic Table.
Algebra II-Powers, roots, and radicals in inverse function.
Gym-Breast Cancer Awareness today. Usually the muscles we use when lifting weights.
Art-Nothing, just painting. I'm painting part of epcot with a monorail on a canvas. =D
Agriculture-Other forms of welding, but us girls will be starting on flowers.
 
Statistics-we are making surveys for the whole school and then sending them out and then we are supposed to do something with the results I just don't know what yet
English- Harlem Renaissance
Politics and Presidency- primaries and up coming election we are making a survey for the seniors and faculty
Physics- no idea.....um something with electricity
AP Calculus- we are reviewing for the AP exam.....LOTS OF DERIVATIVES!!
 
Business Studies - Management and Strategies.
English Literature - The Handmaids Tale and The Crucible.
History - Stalin's Russia.
 
Math: Reviewing for the SOLs
Language Arts: Poetry
Science: We just had a test on classification and bacteria, so I don't know what's next.
History: We're just starting WWII
 
Historical Methods: We are doing medical history right now... In today's class, we learned all about surgery and stuff during The Civil War, and had a presentation by an american medical historian. He brought in real knives used for amputations during the war to show us. :)
Advanced Italian: well, obviously, learning the language and grammar and stuff. But also learning the history of each region... Yesterday's class we did the region Abruzzo.
History of the Theatre: Today's class we did an overview of Medieval Theatre.
Fundamentals of Directing: Yesterday's class we did Open Scenes, using the Brecht Test... being able to convey the story without words, just simply through the blocking.
 
English: reading the Odyssey
Math: I don't even know....
French: Parts of Grammar
Global: Medival China
Earth Science: Rocks.
 
Desktop Publishing: Completely useless class. The basics of Microsoft Office.
Geometry: Something new that I wasn't there for.
Spanish: "How often"
World History: Pre WWII
English: Poetry
Biology: Genetics
Gym: Square dancing. in jersey. not making much sense.
 
My classes are pretty much a joke right not. Both the teachers and the students have Senioritis..:laughing:

Sociology: Just finished the chapter on Education & Religion
Gym: How to play softball...:rolleyes:
Art: Making drinking mugs out of clay
French: Preparing for AP Test (which I am not taking..:rolleyes1)
Math: Different insurances (basically my teacher telling us stories all period)
English: Reading a book, (Lovely Bones, a really good book, I highly recommend it) no paper on it though. :woohoo:

art- value scale projects
yearbook-we do our own thing, the yearbooks done and submitted :cool1:
 
Social Studies: We just started doing wars that Canada participated in. We just finished doing the Boer War, and now we're starting WWI. It's kind of frustrating, because my teacher explains it in the easiest way... he dumbs everything down, and I feel like I'm in like third grade.

English: We are just finishing up The Outsiders and we're doing a project on heros (I'm doing a comic strip with a friend).

Music: Well, the new term starts tomorrow, so that's what I'm starting. I believe, I will be learning to play 100 Miles by Vanessa Carlton on the keyboard.

Math: We just finished up inequalities.

French: I actually had a midterm today. Up till now we've covered the Passé composé (which I already knew how to do, but my teacher seems to think we're idiots), and some adjectifs qualificatifs. I have no idea what we're doing tomorrow other than handing a piece of writing in.
