:teeth: I didn't want to admit this, but I guess I have a 40 yr. old too. The kids each have a lightsaber, so does DH (his makes sounds, lights up). After the hurricane, the 4 of them "battled" in the front yard. :teeth: :teeth:

I haven't done any "real" Christmas shopping yet. I'm usually on top of it, but due to my schedule now and the dang hurricane, things are kind off track. I'm getting gift cards for everyone else in the family. My kids are getting older and more difficult to buy for.

Feralpeg~ It sounds like it will be an iPod themed Christmas for your DD. I'll share a suggestion with you on the accessory used to listen to the iPod in your car. I don't know which one you have gotten, but if it's the iTrip, they aren't very good. Other than having a radio with the capability to directly plug in your iPod or having the connection from the auto maker, the casette plug-in seems to be the best. DH bought me the iTrip last year and it's useless. The station that you pick sounds good at first, then as you are driving you get interference and all you hear is static. It was very frustrating.

Some of you said that the presents are wrapped under the tree. :earseek: Are you saying that your tree is already up? :earseek:

DS9: XBox360, 2games for it,IPOD 1PSP game, 1 NintendoDS game, games for gamecube and PS2
DD10: IPOD, games, IDog and whatever else she adds, cellphone
DD11: same as DD10

To share: CSI DNA, CSI fingerprints, CSI (I forget this one)

DD 9 wants a big Barbie House from Toys R Us (the one in the sale paper), Karaoke Machine, Clothes for her American Girl Dolls, Polly Pockets, Bratz Campfire Girls & Tent and Full House Season 2 DVD (comes out in Dec). I already picked her up a Titanic Book (she is very interested in the Titanic) and a Cootie Catcher Book, Who's the Boss? Season DVD's and some stocking stuffers.

I have NO idea what to get DS(8) He doesn't play with any of the toys he has. All he wants to do is color on his whiteboard, and read.

We've tried the Imaginext, but he had a hard time with them (he's visually impaired), I got him DDR last year, but he is not coordinated enough. He has Ninja Turtle and Power Ranger stuff that he doesn't play with... it goes on and on.

AARGH! They are sooo easy to shop for when they are babies!

I didn't even know they had a sw's version. I'll have to see if I can find it!!!

LMC ~ Did you buy your 10 year old Star Wars fan the battleship game yet? My kids have Star Wars Battleship and it's great.

(if it's not too late)

JennaTX:
Have you seen the race track on display? I saw it at Toys R us and tried it. The cars only went around the track 1.5 times before having to start over again.

It was not like what I imagined from the commercial. I decided not to get it for DS5 because he would get frustrated having to start it over so much. It doesn't really run long enough to "race". Other than that, it looked pretty sturdy and well made (which I need for my ds) but I decided against it.

Santa will bring DD7:
-a Doodle Bear with Glow Pen
-a Pixel Chix
-Scene It (Harry Potter version)
-20Q pocket version
-an inflatable bouncy ball (the one with a handle that you sit an and bounce around on)
-stocking stuffers- a Disney Girlz Rock CD, chocolate, and other small stuff

Mom and Dad will give her
-new clothes (jammies, socks, undies, and jeans)
-new books
-Christmas snowglobe

DD 12 - iPod, American Girl Doll, CD's, DVD's, clothes, hair products, earrings, craft kits, sled.

DD 9 - American Girl Doll, telescope, Country Critter sets, DVD's, clothes, art sets, games, sled.

Plus their stockings which are HUGH :earseek:

So far we bought our 11 year old DS an Ipod, a basketball, Full House season 1 DVD set, Swing-Away and Disney Scene It

DS(3) Tom and Jerry DVD, Candy Land, Aqua Doodle, Blue's Clue's talking chair and Elmo Knows My Name.

Hoping to find some good deals on things in a few weeks on Black Friday

Since we are leaving for Disney on the 26th I cut way back this year. Both my DS12 and DD11 are getting personal DVD players with the really good headphones and a DVD. Great for that 34 hour drive the next day :cool1:

My favorite idea for them was buying a personal travel bag for each to bring there own bathroom stuff. I will wrap the bags for under the tree and then fill their stockings with all the "stuff" to put in them. Soap, shampoo, tooth brush and tooth paste ect.

I can hardly wait until Christmas morning. :Pinkbounc

DD10 will be getting:

Bratz doll
Big Bratz head thing
Clothes
Hillary Duff CD
DVD's (Kicking & Screaming and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants)
Pixel Chix
Mall Madness game
Finding Nemo Gameboy game
My Dream Life
Book (Chasing Vermeer)
Alarm clock (apparently she thinks this is better than me singing to
wake her up :rotfl2: )

DS9 doesn't know what he wants. So far I got him

The Magic Kingdom game at Toys R Us
Disney Scene It game at Toys R Us
Star Wars Skateboard and pads at Toys R Us

I'm stumped now!! We do like playing games at our house. BOTH his PS2 and Game Cube died the same day at the same time--Power surge? Anyway, he wants games for them, but they're not even working, so I doubt I'll do that.

I'm still shopping. :)

So far for DS 4, leapster, 2 leapster games, leap pad desk (I think that's so cool!) spongebob video now set, imaginext dinosaur playset.

DS 10, skateboard, roboraptor combo set (includes the roboraptor mini) guitar, star wars toys, bionicles. I also want to get him a terrain twister.

DD 14, Pajamas. That's it so far. She's very difficult to buy for this year. I do want to get her the Ipod shuffle. I guess some gift certificates or clothes. I have no clue what else to get her. :)

Our PS2 just died also. I think it may be the transformer in the power cord. I am going to go to Game Stop to see if they have a cord that we can try on my unit. This just really makes me made since he has only had it 10 months!

And this is too funny, we want a game cube too; with the adapter so they can play their gameboy games. We'll keep that in our camper so we don't have to move the PS2 all the time.

So far mine is getting her high school letter jacket - so far that is all she has asked for - maybe a game boy game or a PS2 game - haven't heard "oh I want that game yet"

Darth Vader Voice Changer, Lightsabers, Leapster, Mousetrap, Don't Break the Ice, Lite Brite Flash Art, Furreal Cat, Princess Karaoke Machine, Ariel Fashion Head, Barbie and the Magical Pegasus DVD, Great States Game, Karate Set, Bike
