What are you doing to prepare for your trip?

We leave in just under three weeks! :yay: So far I've made all the travel arrangements, including transfer from the airport to hotel. I've ordered the ART passes to be delivered to our hotel the day we arrive. I've made a PS for Goofy's Kitchen for the first day we are there, for brunch. Since we have such an early flight the day we leave (have to be up by 4 am) I'm planning our first full day to be brunch at Goofy's Kitchen and then shopping at DTD and pool/relaxing time!

I've made a PS for Wine Country Trattoria for Sunday, Mother's Day, for lunch at 1 pm. I'm also in the process of planning out our days and making sure we do the MM at the right time and see the things my girls didn't get to see 2 years ago when we went. We're going just the girls, for Mother's Day weekend, my twin 7 year old daughters and my Mom and I. We plan on taking afternoon breaks but also want to be sure to hit all the highlights and have a great time, which as we know requires some planning.

I've started to pull clothes out of my closet to wash and have mentally thought of what to bring for my girls (they don't have a clue, won't know until the day before we go). I've purchased some stuff to keep them occupied on the plane and will organize their bags in the next week or so.

I've also made copies of all our documents and our passports!

And of course, I'm on the DIS board constantly. I have to close my laptop whenever the girls walk by.

Spending way too much time on the DIS and other Disney boards! :guilty:

Purchased several Disney t-shirts at the Disney Store for all of us - kids, me, my mother and my brother! Was thrilled to find that they now offer some t-shirts in a 'ladies fit' - read bigger in the hips - :lmao:

a few weeks back i got the girls matching Ariel shirts (for the first day when we eat at Ariel's Grotto for DD's 10th b-day)
i also got another shirt for each child.

bought ANOTHER MEMORY CARD (can't have too many) and i might just buy one more.:lmao:

got lanyards to hold passes/ fast passes

bought trading pins off of ebay (but not enough) :rolleyes1

got the set of McD Happy Meal Princes toys off of ebay to give kids when we get there (just cheapy toys for fun, not even sure when i am going to give it to them)

looking for those light up toys for the night-time (i already have glasses that light up as well as extra light up sticks... but i ALSO want the ones that you can bend into a bracelet or necklace or "hat.")

bought throw away ponchos for the wet rides...:scared1:

figuring out WHAT we need to do "when" (in terms of parades, etc.)

and on and on...:dance3:

can't wait!

I haven't done anything. BUt that's ok... I still have 8 hours until we leave for the plane. :cool1: :)

I've been so incrediablly busy for work... have even been dialed in most of tonight.

Hopefully my wife remembered everything that needed to be done.

I did finally get all the video from our last trip off the tapes and onto the computer.

Ok, this is probably a really dumb question, but how do you clip your gate passes and FPs to the lanyard? Is there a little pouch to carry them in, or do you punch a hole in them? I thought about buying a lanyard here before we go, and then taking along a hole punch and putting our entry tickets on it (so I can hold mine and my daughters safely) but I don't know if you can punch a hole in the corner of them or not.

Can anyone humour me with an answer? :confused3

We leave this Tuesday and I'm half packed and my dining room table is full of STUFF that we need to take. You have officially just stressed me out! :scared1:

I think I have finally gotten my boys' wardrobe for our trip in less than 3 weeks! :)

The lanyards we bought at the park had little plastic sleeves attached for FP and tickets to "ride" in. We didn't really use ours for FP, but since they were 50th anniversary ones we brought it home and put our tickets in as keepsakes. When we go back we will buy new lanyards, they are only like $5 and make nice souvenirs......
