What are you doing this weekend?

Our Sunday consisted of dd's soccer tournament. These kids haven't won a game in the three years since they started. They have the talent, but it just hadn't come together for them. Well today, I'm happy to report, they came in second place for the whole tournament! When they won their first game 1-0, you would have thought we won the Super Bowl! They went on to win 3 more games and tie 2. We didn't lose a one of them! Yay! What a confidence booster for these kids and a great way to end the season. DD scored her first goal and my dh who took over as "Coach" this year is on

I had a very productive weekend....got most of the housework done on Saturday, did laundry, went food shopping and had a very early dinner with DBF..then watched a movie. When he went to take a nap before work I finally got ALL my ironing done. Then on Sunday, I met up with a freind for lunch, then we got pedicures done...After that I helped her get her taxes done and filed..then had a nice dinner.

Now, it's back to work...ugg
