What are you doing new or different on your next trip?

Well for this October:

- Character meals: CRT on the first morning for breakfast, Crystal Palace, Garden Grill
- Harry Potter land in Universal..........so excited!!
-? daytrip to St Pete's.

Just can't wait to get back really!

Lots of new things this time, not sure how we'll even fit Disney in to be honest!

Busch Gardens
Kennedy Space Centre
A trip to the beach (which one depends on the oil situation)
Possibly a trip to Miami
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal
Potterland, obviously. ;)

Fit all this in, plus rest time?! In two weeks?! I'll need a holiday after this holiday!

Will be my 10th trip and dbf's 2nd.

New things for the next trip.

First time onsite! - DDP & Lots of new restaurants to try.
TOT and RNRC - Never done these two before!
Harry Potter Land - dbf can't wait for this.
Looking for stuff I found out about in Hidden Magic Book.
Going to the Boardwalk
Visiting every resort only ever visited monorail one's before.
Doing atleast one of the Disney minigolf courses.

we always try and do a few new things each trip. This year our new things include

Our 1st stay at a deluxe hotel

food and wine festival

trip to Miami and the Everglades

enjoying the Boardwalk ( can't believe we've never been)

The Keys to the kingdom tour is the best tour ever! You will love it.

Everyone's new things sound wonderful!

Our news ones this trip will be Harry Potter.

Eating at Crave, Brio, Bice and Cantina Laredo.

Later on in the year I think we are going to try Universal horror nights. I have been putting this off for years but we get free tix with our AP's so I figure we should try and if I get too scared we can always leave.

Looking forward to Christmas this year for the first time too :)

Discovery Cove, HHN & MNSSHP will all be firsts for us this year! :cool1:

I'm especially looking forward to HHN, I've wanted to see it for over 14 years, and finally my dream is coming true :cloud9:

Most of my new things seem to revolve around food or alcohol (or both!) - how embarassing, LOL. Ah well, here we go.

- Flying Club World - Loathe to use the 'once in a lifetime' line but really...this is probably the biggest treat we've ever given ourselves or likely to give ourselves ever again unless we can manage freebie upgrade with miles or something. Justifying it for our 20th Anniversary.

- Dinner at Sanaa - heard so many good things about this place

- "New" Tusker House for lunch (we've only ever eaten there when it was rotisserie counterservice)

- Crews Cup - part of our 'Drink around the BW resorts' night. Might try the yummy Yachtman Steakhouse menu they serve there too.

- Chefs De France

- Boatwrights - saw the theming and thought would be fun to check it out

- Try Beignets!

- Watch the MK Fireworks from California Grill balcony (hopefully! We're 'Drinking around the Monorail' but bar access can be denied if they're really busy)

- Footpaths! Bit of a weird one this. We're going to do some resort hopping as that's always fun so also planning to walk the footpaths between Old Key West and Saratoga Springs, Grand Floridian to the Polynesian, Polynesian to Shades of Green and lastly the path from Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness (or all vice versa).

- The Downtown Disney Balloon (depends whether the weather/wind plays nice whenever we're in DTD though)

- Ghiradelli's. Every trip we always say we'll try a sundae there and every trip we see the crowd...we've never even stepped through the door! This time it's happening no matter what...

- Having a drink at the Tune In Lounge (bar attached to Prime Time in DHS)

- Try a Yak Attack boozy drink @ AK

- Watching the Flag Retreat at MK

- Prime Outlets (Normally just do Premium Outlets, I'm not a big shopper)

- Try a Grand Marnier Slushie from France in WS

- Getting our first Owners Locker

Nothing silly about that at all, quite the contrary, that's a really good one :)

Probably cheaper than going back with a new child each time too ;)

- Try Beignets!

We got flew Biz class last Aug(price error, £470pp) I said it was a once in a lifetime opertunity, no way would I pay that kind of money for a flight. This August flying Biz class, £1,170pp but worth every penny if we get the same service as last year. No idea about Club World but never say never.:goodvibes

We had Saana on our list last August and again this August and removed both times after reading bad reviews so I think its one that has to be tried and find out yourself.

Beignets are on my list this year also.:thumbsup2

Most of my life revolves round those two things lol lol. Plus shopping lmao.
We LOVE Sanaa and its become a must do each trip for us. So glad to FINALLY have a decent Indian restaurant in FL :)

This will be our longest stay, 16 nights and our first time at POR and first time with free dining plan.
Want to try:
Pick a pearl
Beignets, dole whip, Main St Bakery cinnamon roll, school bread and an ice cream cookie sandwich. (Can't beleive I've never tried any of these, my snack credits might run out fast)
Disney crazy golf.
Resort hopping.
Beach visit.
Rope drop.
WWoHP (hope it's not TOO busy!)
Possibly Camp Fire Singalong.
Pirate Adventure Cruise at hotel for the kids.
:yay:

Oh I forgot about the Disney crazy golf. Thanks Marl for the reminder. Which one are you wanting to do?

Staying onsite, both Disney and Universal.
First time eating in Disney (table service) restaurants.
15 nights instead of 14 nights.

Good few firsts this time :)

:goodvibes

What a great thread!!

Here are our firsts for this visit -
We are making our first visit as DVC owners.
Our first trip staying at Saratoga Springs.
Going to visit Celebration for the first time.
Shopping at the Mall at Millenia - usually go to Florida Mall.
Dessert party - can't wait.
16 nights instead of 14 (yippee!!!)
Flying with BA instead of Virgin - hopefully.
Also thinking of hiring a boat at downtown disney.

I am sure there are more but this was just off the top of my head.

That's a nice looking line-up AnnB! :thumbsup2

Now I have to ask (and I am sure you will excuse me as most others have had to learn to do :lmao:) but you say hopefully flying BA not VA. I see your ticker says 2 weeks. Have you not booked flights?
