What are you doing new or different on your next trip?

I normally start threads that are asking for help, but as I was falling asleep last night and reading my Brits Guide through too tired eyes, I started getting excited about the new things we are doing on our next trip and then wondered if you guys each plan something different for each trip:-

This time, for the first time we are:-

Doing the "Hoop de Doo Review", the Wishes Dessert Party and staying at Hard Rock for just one night when we go to Universal.

So what about you guys? I though this might inspire some of us to try something new!

These are the new things we are up to in December - it will be our third trip.

Candlelit Processional.
Touring the Deluxe resorts to see the christmas decorations.
Grand Gathering at Epcot with some US friends we met on our last Disney trip.
Staying at POR - previously we've only stayed at POFQ.

Non Disney stuff:
Islands of Adventure for Potter Land!
Discovery Cove - Christmas day, surprise present for the children.

By the way - 3 weeks at the GF - lucky you! We can't afford more than a moderate. Jealous

We mostly do have something new each trip. This coming trip we are going with my sister and her family for the first time and staying in a big villa, so that will be our main new thing!

Also, this time, I'd quite like to visit Bok Tower and Spook Hill, so may try to squeeze that into our itinerary.

I expect we'll find a new restaurant to try, but with so many old favourites it may be tricky fitting another in!

Oh, and of course, I'd forgotten Harry Potter land!

Most things will be new this trip:

Going to New York for 3 nights first.
Staying in a villa instead of onsite/DVC.
Not going to any Disney or Universal parks.
Going to Seaworld.
Trying lots of offsite restaurants.
Going to Vero Beach for 1 night/2days.
Chilling!!!!

What an appropriate thread: I just had to post on it.

The motto for our October trip is At least one new thing every day!

So far we have a few new restaurants booked
We are going to see Fantasmic (never seen it, can you believe it?! DD has always been hesitant so I don't push, but she got onto the Teens/Tweens part of the Disney DVD and is sold on it)
Going to see some new shows
Hoping to see La Nouba

it will be my birthday this next trip so we are planning a character brekkie start and then a special evening meal for that (we're thinking O'hana for the evening and donalds safari brekkie in ak for brekkie) so excited as i will finally get to wear a birthday badge in disney

planning to see the ducks at the peabody and hopefully have afternoon tea at dux if the hotel and restaurant renovations are finally finished

plan to visit de leon springs and the old spanish sugar mill restaurant for breakfast pancakes

harry potter at universal

lots of chillin, shopping and eating out

This year we are going to our first:-
MNSSHP
Haunted Carriage Ride at Fort Wilderness
Illuminations or Wishes cruise (someone has invited us to join theirs, but not sure which it is yet!)!
Day trip to St Augustines
Harry Potter Land (whatever its really called!)
A few new restaurants
First stay at a deluxe resort
Food and Wine Festival

We also try try new rides - this year we are definitely trying the Hall of Presidents thing in MK . . . lets hope we enjoy that more than our experiment with the Country Bear Jamboree last year It was like a cult in there!!!!!

Going to see an American Football game
Spending a couple of days/1 night in St Augustine
Visiting Celebration (can you believe we've still not been after 8 trips )
WWOHP (unbelievably excited about this one - even though I'm not a HP fan)

Ooooh great thread.

We are doing lots new on this upcoming trip, getting married is probably the big one but in all seriousness we are doing LOADS new, which isn/t hard as we've only been together once.

New hotels - GF, Boardwalk, Bay Lake Tower (staying DVC will also be a new experience) and trying Disney concierge level will be a new (and probably rare!) treat too.

Lots of new restaurants - including California Grill, Narcoosees and Teppan Edo.

New Experience - The flower and garden festival - I'm really excited.

We're also going to go to Discovery Cove which I'm really excited about as to touch a dolphin willl be a dream come true for me.

Can I ask what / where the Penguin spotlight tour is?

Its at seaworld I adore penguins and DB booked it on my birthday.You get to spend an hour backstage and in the enclosure and pat one have photos took etc. cost $40 per adult $30 per child
