We leave just in a few days, and it happens to be my daughter's birthday while we are there. Not to cause a stir among the other kids (as they were beginning to think "why does SHE get to go to Disney for her birthday????") we have decided to give them each a special meal. The birthday girl gets a meal with the princesses for her birthday, our oldest daughter a meal at Rainforest Cafe for being 5 years cancer free, and our son a meal at ESPN Grill for good grades. Should we let the host/hostess know at each place? Will they do anything special??

Wow!! That is a lot of amazing celebrations. I'd say go ahead and let the server or the hostess know. What can it hurt. And maybe you will get some extra pixie dust. Congrats to all of your kids.:thumbsup2

We will be celebrating my birthday

Wow! Those are really great reasons to celebrate! I'd say go ahead and let the server/hostess know. Why not. There may be a little bit of extra pixie dust in there for you. :thumbsup2

We are taking my DS for a surprise 5th birthday trip!! It has been an act of God for me not to tell him!! Esp. when we were at the doctor's office and he is now 46" and can ride EE! He screamed out - "now I can ride like a big kid - mommy when can we go back?!?!?"

But I was good secret keeper and he still has no idea - Thank God we leave Sat. :cool1:!!!

OP - I would def. let the host/hostess know you are celebrating!!

Everyone have great celebrations and magical trips!

We'll be celebrating the birth of my little princess (due next month!) and it being her first trip! DS is SUPER excited to bring his baby sister and show her the ropes.

My DH and I are visiting the world next week for our honeymoon! I can't believe after all the planning we are finally going! I couldn't have thought of a better place to celebrate such a wonderful event in our lives!:lovestruc

We will be there for Mother's Day too, both my DDs and I are going to go have tea at the GF Tea Room while DH finds something else to do :goodvibes. We will also be celebrating both of my DD's birthdays while there as well. We cannot wait.

Dh and I are going to WDW in 17'days to celebrate 20 years together.
We met in high school on Jan 27, 1991. :lovestruc. We have been together ever since, even getting married in Disney World 12 years ago!

We go almost yearly, and this year we will celebrate my birthday, DD 7th Birthday(Sept but close enough to party), and lastly but not least DD first day of kindergarten the following week we get home:cheer2:

ANY reason is a good reason to celebrate at the World:dance3:

19 days left and celebrating my birthday at the world.

My last trip to DW was in Sept. 2008 (me, my son, dad and mom). I son was just over 2, a little less than 2 weeks after that my mom had a stroke. Needless to say my life hasn't been the same.

I leave in 8 days for the first vacation that I have had since her stroke. It will be the first time I haven't seen my parents in 2 1/2 years!

I am very excited to get to spend this vacation with just me and my son. It doesn't happen very often and he will start school later this year.
