soo now we know that GC are really excluded what are you going to buy? Groceries for me just to save the trip to Winco. My Christmas shopping is pretty much done. So I am blank on what else I may NEED lol

Just got home from Target. Espresso Machine, Cookware Set, Knife Set, A bookshelf, some groceries, a jacket. Total was 392. After 20%, cartwheel, coupons, and red card spent $252.

We can use cartwheel with the 20%?

ohh awesome savings :) Thanks for the reminder looking at carwheel now

what are the good cartywheels? just downloaded the app and tough to navigate thid thing...

I posted earlier this morning on the other thread about the 20% not working on the Disney cards as there was a father/son attempting it as soon as the store opened. I knew I was going to "shop" so I did and didn't even try the Disney cards with my checkout since he was the guinea pig. :lmao:

Anyway - I also took advantage of the $10 off $40 household purchase (coupon in todays paper or through text) and got Tide, Gain, dish washer tablets, and dish soap so that was nice to save 20% and $10 on those. I got lots of groceries, a hand blender I've been wanting (to make home made soups), cat food and litter, krill oil (since they aren't cheap-lol), stocking stuffers for my DH and DS, vitamin water since it was also on sale, and I think that was it. I also used a few coupons and my Cartwheel app and saved $34.99 on the 20% off coupon, the $10 coupon so not too bad to save about $50 on today's trip.

Yes, sure I was disappointed to *not* save $1000 on Disney gift cards but I had already told myself it was too good to be true so I wouldn't be so disappointed today.

I bought a bike for the child we adopted through DH's job for Christmas. I also bought regular groceries, some clothes, tons of cleaning supplies and baby supplies. I spent $175 and after coupons, cartwheel, the 20% off and my red card I saved a little over $50. Not too bad, but not very exciting.

Nice :) I am not much of a coupon person but I am making a list printing coupons and using cartwheel and will see how good I do. I do not really have any big items either but will still enjoy 20% off I have 2 so will use one today and one at the end of the week.

We are getting groceries with it today and a few more christmas present items too :)

I bought a few good deals today.
Lego sets are $56 down from $69.99. I found a Hobbit set marked $55 down from $69.99.
I also bought the camera bundle that is on sale for $99, nice cannon camera, case and card. The store didn't have the bundle in stock so manager offered me another SD card, and let me choose the case I wanted. He commented it was a great deal for $99. Then I applied my 20%, and both 5% discounts.

Also went ahead and got $500 in Disney cards since I was using my pharmacy coupon. So for $584 I got Lego set, large lego base plate, camera bundle, underwear for DD and some dish towels along with the $500 in disney cards.

Does the 5% pharmacy coupon stack with the 20% coupon? I wasn't sure if I should make 2 purchases, one with the 20% coupon and one for just disney cards using the pharmacy coupon. I am afraid that using them together might somehow block the pharmacy coupon discount from the Disney cards. TIA

making sure I understand ... :upsidedow

we can use a combo of:
20% off
manufacturer's coupons
cartwheel

what about Target printed coupons? no?

I am not going till tomorrow but I just spent all morning writing out a detailed list of our household supplies for the year...

Toiletries, garbage bags, cleaners, sandwich bags, etc.

I estimated it would cost about 620 so I will get it for 500. To me that is a great savings!! And it will be nice to not be running out all the time for supplies :)

Just got back and they took all my discounts and coupons. Manufacturer, Target, cartwheel , all of them :-)

I got a tablet and 2 leapreaders. I need to return the ones I purchased already. This saves $40 over items that I had already purchased and was fairly happy with the prices I had already. I also bought some groceries, a few toys, and a camera for my friend to pay me back that she wanted. All in all the coupon saved $125. I didn't get to use it on my giftcards, but not too shabby.
