Father's Day is less than three weeks away, what have you (or will you) be buying for your DH's or your DF's?

Same thing I buy for every holiday, birthday or special occasion......a Harley Davidson gift certificate, easy to get easy to use and everyone in my family loves them!!!!

i already bought it! :) i got books for my dad. :)

Hoenstly Dh is sooo easy. I bought him the Passporter, Mickey socks while we were down there, and two Mickey treasures..Donald Duck and Mickey in living color 2.

DF's now that is a bit harder. I think I am going to take the kids to the mall and get their pics on a Mousepad or plate and give one to each of them.

DH's B-day is in July and I think I will just give him Disney Dollars for our trip. That makes it easy..and I will buy him Miracle. He loved that movie.

I always put flowers on my dads grave and my husbands fathers grave.....they still remain close in our hearts.....

for my husband....he is not my daddy....but still get him a special gift ..usually lobster and clams ..for a cookout

My dad's birthday and father's day are always close together so I get him one big present.

My dad has recently gotten into reading so I am buying him a gift certificate to the bookstore.

my brother, mother and I all chipped in and got him a nice wine cabinet from Pier 1 which we fully stocked with his favorite white wine (and other liquors)

we also bought a custom glass top for it (easy to wipe up spills) and all the 'acessories' every good bar needs.

DH is getting a new baby. The kids will go pick something out, DS wants to get him a Starsky and Hutch t-shirt.

I let my kids pick something out for their Dad at the dollar store. I give them each $10 to spend, that way they think they are getting Daddy a lot, and if they pick something inappropriate, I don't have to tell them no.

DH does the same thing -- we've had some real "treasures" over the years. I'm still admiring my Barbie doll (or the cheap Dollar store knock off Barbie) that Drew gave me for Mother's Day. :p

DD is "taking" him to a ballgame...the local minor league team has a game that day so she decided to pick that. I got them great seats and am giving her extra money for peanuts, popcorn, water and hot dogs as well as programs and, if she's so inclined, a few baseball hats. She is very excited to be "taking" him out for the day :)

Typically I let her pick out what she wants to get him.

DD and DS bought Dad an Orange County Chopper shirt. They tried to stick me with the bill but I told them they had to split the shirt and card ($13) so $6.50 each really isn't that bad.

Our anniversary and father's day are close so I always get my dh the same thing....NFL Sunday Ticket. He loves it and looks forward to getting it every year. For FIL and my dad, I have no ideas. Possibly not much.

Just ordered Donald Duck and Goofy golf club covers and a new Mickey golf shirt from TDS. These will go with his Mickey club cover and his Goofy golf bag he got a year ago for Christmas. Kids will pay me (LOL) when they get paid.

Since my DH, so nicely puts it, "You're not my mother, so I don't buy you anything for Mother's Day", then "he's not my father and the same holds true!

I get my dad a WaWa gift card. There really isn't anything he needs and I know he uses the gift cards, so I've been doing that for every occassion!

We are going to Las Vegas!! We arrive on father's day and I am taking my dad too!!We are probably going to go to the Tournament of Kings Show that night. You get to eat your food w/out silverware and there will be jousting etc......pretty manly. At least my 8 year old DS will love it!:teeth:

His BDay and Fathers day are so close, so my dad is getting them all together =)

We're taking him out for a REAL steak dinner, plus getting him a humidor, cigars, shirt, and DVD of Master and COmmander...

buying DS & myself a penguin encounter at Mystic Aquarium - DH doesnt want to come with us

will most likely take DH out for dinner a few days before Fathers Day (like he did w/Mother's Day)

Well, I WAS going to buy DH a new Palm Pilot (actually a gc to buy one), but... he went to Circuit City on Saturday and bought one.

My husband is getting a Jacksonville tag for the front of his car, a cd he has been wanting an a new xbox because his isn't working so hot these days. I am thinking about planning something special on that day. Heck, if I was actually off from work on a Sunday that would be pretty special itself!
