I have a child with Aspergers Syndrome (it is on the autism spectrum)

, and another with severe life threatening food allergies and asthma (as long as allergies are not triggered he is a very healthy kiddo)

.
Well, we are at the 17 days until we get on the plane mark.

We had been going to
Disneyland for Mothers Day (back in May), when my DH heard about the Free Dining offer at DWorld for Sept

. He changed some things and voila, Dworld w/free dining in Sept (the flights didn't matter as we are using his earned frequent flyer tix)

.
Anyway we were going to celebrate my sons State Championship (he made gymnastics all around 1st place for his division back in April)

. We will still be doing that. I made tee shirts that read (on front ) What Will the Hansens Celebrate? on back they read: My Son (or brother) the 2009 NV State Gymnastics Champion Level 4

. As I was reviewing my packing list, today, with my 14 year old aspie (plannaholic) she said, sadly, "mom, why are we only celebrating Nik?"

So........Long story short, I have been making tee shirts ALL AFTERNOON LONG.

We have one celebrating something about each of the 5 members of our family

Jessi (daughter) celebrating her being a cheerleader

James (son) celebrating him starting HS this year

Daddy Celebrating business goals met

Mom celebrating 15 years with Dad (the shirts say "15 years of Happily Ever After")

So, I thought I'd share.......Just a little more magic (and a lot more work and pixie dust) at my house tonight.
