What are they putting where Tarzan used to be?

A friend of mine asked what is going to be where Tarzan Rocks (I think thats what it is) is. I told her I would ask here. Anybody know?

My understanding is that the first order of business after Tarzan shuts down is to enclose the theatre since the noise from the soon to be opened Expedition Everest would otherwise drown out whatever production will be taking Tarzan's place. The last thing I've heard about the new production (courtesy of Screamscape.com, a great place for breaking Disney park news) is that it will be Finding Nemo themed, although I have yet to see that confirmed elsewhere.

I think it is closing in January '06. It is such a great show, we see it everytime we go and I hate to see it go!!! I read somewhere that Jungle Book was going in. Maybe in my Mickey Monitor? I think I threw it away. I'll have to check the disney site to see if the monitors are available on-line.

Wasn't the Jungle Book there before Tarzan Rocks? Your post made me remember that! I think I saw it there when AK first opened, but maybe I'm thinking of something else. That'd be neat if they brought it back.

My family will definitely miss this show. We had to see it every time we went. My son is very disappointed. but we will be going to see the new Broadway Tarzan show this spring/summer....so that should make him happy! but he still is pissed about them closing the Lion King attraction in the magic kingdom....he liked that one better than the Lion King show itself! For a little kid of 8, He holds grudges a long time....

Your son has good taste! I still miss the Lion King show in MK, too. I like that one better than the one in AK. I really want to go see the one on broadway though. My mom was going to take me as a Christmas present last year, but she couldn't get tickets when they came here.

Absolutely!! That MK show was great. DH actually got choked up when the daddy lion died-Moofasa? WAs that his name? Anyway, That AK one is ok, but I really don't like it that much, personally. Too loud.

we were told by a CM at MGM that a Nemo show is going in like someone else mentioned and that it would be closed in so probably won't be open again for a little while.
