Hi
Just looking at fantasyland map and see 'casey junior' and le pays des contes de fees.

Just wondered what these are and if they had a US equivalent?

Thanks:confused3

Hi, take a look at the attractions bit of dlrpreview.com. There are descriptions & pictures of the rides. :)

Casey Junior is a small "rollercoaster", but its incredibly tame, and has nothing more than a slight up and down! Seriously addictive music.

Le Pay des Contes de Fees, is the "storybook ride". A small boat which takes you round a lot of story book type places, its a water based ride, very slow and relaxing. Nothing spectacular but very enjoyable, would recommend it at least once. Will try dig out some photos of it soon.

le pays des contes de fees is the Storybook land canal boats which is also at Disneyland and the 'casey junior' is the casey Junior circus train that runs around it which is also at Disneyland California.

Thanks all of you!

I've added both of these to the must do list!

Thanks for the tip about the dlrpreview site, its great!

This is us on the storybook ride when it detached from the rails and we drifted off - we attracted quite a crowd!!

those were both closed my last visit i cant wait to do them next time.

omg how did you get out??

We completely missed these the first time we went. Then after asking about them here too, we were looking forward to doing them the last visit, but unfortunately they were closed (even though they were both supposed to be open the first couple of days :sad2: ), so we still haven't done these and will just have to go again :rotfl2:

I didn't find these open at all until my 4th trip (in June).

And I'm pretty sure they were closed in early October - but I don't remember going to check  .

So some of you went a number of times before you discovered Casey Jr and LPDCDF.
Sorry to labour a point here, but it's things like this that make me doubt that anybody could 'do' the Park in 2 hours. :sad2:

Exactly :thumbsup2 . I also didn't realise Boot Hill was there after our first (6 day) trip or the Pocahontas Indian Village. I'm sure we'll discover more next time that we didn't see last time aswell.

sorry to drag it on again but i have a list of things to do this time that i either missed, was closed or didnt have time to do last time. i want to spend more time just exploring the park as i found when you are on the move from one thing to another you miss whats going on around you if that makes sense lol
