So 3 days ago my gf's knee did something. We are not sure what yet, She has an appointment tomorrow. Pretty much, she can walk, but it's not awesome, and she's hurting a little, and she says it doesn't feel stable. We do not know what is wrong, there are a number of things it can be. After the doc she could be in a cast or a brace or nothing just orders to be off of it.

We are going to DLR on the 13th of July.

What are the rules for getting a wheelchiar, or a electric cart thing (rascal) does she need a doctors note? Or anything? If she has crutches where do we put them? (if she got a wheelchair or rascal) What if there is nothing visabily wrong with her knee, but the doc says don't be walking all day at Disneyland.

How much is a wheel chair or a rascal?

Any other information I need to know?

Are there any rides where if her leg is straight in a cast she would not be able to ride? Lots I would assume...

from what i know theres nio rules. I brough my own last year but if my leg starts messing up whebn im there this time. i will have to get one agine.
They cant ask for notes from docs. things happine ppl walk to much, legs pop, I know there was some opne saying teens were renting some to offtion just to get good seats and stuff. But if she actely hurts id rent one for her.

perks, lines, rides, shows.

I think its 10 a day, dont quote me on thta tho thats a guess

ecv carts are $35 per day with a $20 refundable deposit and no you dont need a doctors note....to be honest with you, if she is in a cast, since you will be staying on property, I would recommend renting the ecv offsite and they will deliver it to your hotel and it will be there when you arrive...imho the best one is deckert surgical...they are out of santa ana and are very proficient...they charge $40 a day for the first 3 days and after 3 days there is a discounted rate...they do charge a $50 refundable deposit and its returned to your cc within a couple of days after you get home...their number is 714-542-5607

They take your word for it that you need one. You can rent the wheelchair at the park, sometimes you can get one at your hotel, or you can rent from someone offsite who will deliver to your hotel. I recommend that you rent from an offsite company, for a variety of reasons. The wheelchairs from the parks are not allowed out of the park, making the trip to and from the hotel a real joy. Sometimes the parks and hotels will not have any available wheelchairs. The wheelchairs offered by offsite companies can sometimes seem a little more sturdy.

You might want to take a look at the DISabilities board, they've been a huge help to me in the past.

I just rented an ECV this weekend for two days of our trip. I was not in a cast or anything, but I have a really bad rash/allergy/something on my feet and there was no way I could walk around DL all day. No one ever asked me for any doctor note or anything. I guess anyone can rent one.

The ECV is $55 a day, but you get $20 back so it's actually $35 a day.
A wheelchair was $30, but you get $20 back, so only $10.

Thanks for all the comments, I will also check out the DISabilities board, totoally forgot about it, thank you.
