What are the RCCL ship classes/ranking?

Oasis class is the biggest and includes Oasis and Allure -correct? What is next and what ships does it include? Where does the Jewel fall?

I would actually have to go to the website and the "about our ships" area to answer fully. But yes Oasis class (with Allure) is the biggest. Quantum is the newest but isn't bigger. I think Freedom etc is the next size down from Oasis but I could be wrong. I think Jewel is in Radiance class; the names always sort of match, and a jewel is sort of radiant know what I mean?

Until someone with an encyclopedic knowledge comes along I know the RCCL site has a comparison!

Agree with the PP. The line's website has an excellent description of each of its classes and each ship within each class. Cruise critic.com also has some good information on these, and is a little less biased in their descriptions.

I didn't realize quantum class was smaller than the oasis class. I just assume hey always got bigger.

Oasis-class - 225k gross tons (Oasis, Allure & 3rd ship)
Quantum-class - 158k gross tons (Quantum, Anthem & Ovation)
Freedom-class - 154k gross tons (Freedom, Liberty & Independence)
Voyager-class - 137k gross tons (Voyager, Adventure, Explorer, Navigator & Mariner)
Radiance-class - 90k gross tons (Radiance,Brilliance, Serenade, Jewel)
stretched Vision-class - 81k gross tons (Enchantment)
Vision-class - 78k gross tons (Vision, Rhapsody, Grandeur, Legend & Splendour)
Sovereign-class - 74k gross tons (Majesty)

Over the past few years RCCL has transferred the other 2 Sovereign-class ships (Sovereign & Monarch) to Pulmantur Cruises. My guess is the Majesty is not far behind. All 3 Quantum-class ships are still under construction as is the 3rd Oasis-class ship. Quantum is slated to be delivered in the very near future. She is currently sea-trialing in the Baltic.
