What are the parks like on July 3rd/4th

We're planning on watching from CG, but I'm not sure if that's best. Why do you recommend the hub? I keep going back and forth on a location
I personally like the hub, because I get goosebumps from the fireworks that are shot off from the castle at the finale. I also always think it is best to watch the fireworks in front of the castle regardless of what show it is. I always feel like you get a "complete" experience. I am someone who is willing to wait for a show though.

Here are my plans for July 4th-6th at Epcot

July 4 - I plan to hang around the resort most of the day then I may try to go in late afternoon to see one of the Voices of Liberty showcases and the American Adventure before dinner. Then I have FP for Illuminations.
If you want to see the Voiced of Liberty shows, they usually have 3 outdoor shows in the late morning/early afternoon. They then have 2 indoor shows I think around 4 and 5. I can't remember the exact time. I recommend seeing their outdoor and indoor shows if you can.

Thank you! Normally I'm the same way, but 4th of July crowds and heat may be too far out of comfort zone! :sad1:

I usually prefer that spot by Casey's as well. I have also watched from what was the FastPass area in front of the Plaza Inn. Since they integrate so many projections on the castle now, you almost have to be in front of the castle to get the full effect. I have accidentally watched Hallowishes from behind the castle, back by the carousel and it was pretty amazing because the fireworks were all around you, but in front is always best.

In many ways, I feel like having a bottle of water handy and just sitting on a crowded hot day in the MK is a good thing. :) I would rather relax and watch the crowd than getting annoyed by the crowds in line for all of the attractions.

Love seeing the Voices Of Liberty on the 4th gives me goosebumps..
