I'm still pretty far out (September) but we decided to book Disney after the 180 mark and some of my ADR are not at the ideal time. What are the odds that I might be able to get better times or in some cases get into an ADR at a place that is currently unavailable between now and Sept?

I still have plenty of time right? Trying not to stress.

You have plenty of time so your chances are very good, but you will need to keep checking online for cancellations. Since cancelled reservations go back into the system almost immediately it is a matter of being online checking when a canceled res appears. You can also subscribe to the cancelled thread for September, but be sure to read the rules in the first post:

I've snagged lots of coveted, hard to get ressies well after my 180, some even right before or during my trip. Just keep checking every day.

I'm in the same boat as you. We upgraded our resort to Moderate so now we have the DDP for 9/19-9/25 and I have been pouring over the reservations page for the past week! I have two that are really not ideal, so I'm hoping for some more times to open up as well. Good luck!!

I got wishes and BOG last year right before we went. I had the option to do it before that but always got sniped waiting too long. It's fluid so just keep your options open if you need to change some things around.

We booked at less than 180 and got just about everything. Yes, we needed to be flexible with some things but in the end, it's worked out great (so far.) The only things I haven't been able to get are Wishes and BOG for dinner. But I'm going to keep checking even when we're on vacation and hoping something pops up!

For the most part, I'm pretty happy with what we have. There are really just two that I have that I want to change, but one is really late and the other I have lunch and rather have breakfast. But if it doesn't work out it isn't the worst thing in the world and we will still be at Disney!!!!

We have always booked last minute due to DH's job. This trip is the first I was ever able to book at the start of my window. Almost everything we wanted we have gotten by faithfully checking, but we were a little flexible on times. Good luck!

I agree don't worry too much yet. I booked at 60 days out , joined the month cancellation board which got me my initial BOG dinner and even landed coveted Star Wars dinner/breakfast , Dining with an Imagineer and even
Fireworks dessert party at 6 days out !

It was kind of a last minute decision and I was worried too but I've managed to get everything I wanted on the days and times I mostly preferred. For the heck of it I've checked same day reservations and even see BOG dinners pop up now and then so definitely never stop checking. Best of luck in planning !
