What are the "not to miss" attractions at DCA?

We're leaving next week, but I know next to nothing about DCA! What are the best attractions, and when is the best time to visit the park? Thanks!

I have found that during the week Monday-Thursday is a good time to visit.

3.It's a Bug's Life.

All of the above have fastpass. Have a great time, the park is more of a walk around and shop park.

Oh and the restaurants in the Fishermans Wharf area are much better than the ones in the carnival area. IMHO.

The Eureka Parade is very good. The best we saw at DL/DCA.

Disney's Steps in Time: A fairy godmother with an attitude teaches a young teen you are never too old to dream. Fri -Thu: 12;30, 1:45, 3, 5 &6:15 pm (Hyperion Theater)
Eureka!: Six epic-scale floats, live drummers, dancers, etc. Fri 4:30 & 7 pm; Sat & Sun 2:30 & 5 pm; M - Thu 4:30 pm (Performance Corridor)
Vocal Flight "Jondo" Singers, performers. Fri-Mon 10, 11, 12, 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30 (At entrance to Condor Flats)
Grizzly Guide & Stories of CA: Located on Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Open air stage presents a range of CA storytelling. Grizzly Guide: Fri-Sun 11 am to 7 pm. Stories of CA: Fri-Sun 10 am - 6 pm; Mon-Thu 11 am-7 pm.
Road Trip: CA bands perform live while cruising through the park on a 1951 Mercury Woody Wagon. (Many times throughouttha day)
Character Greetings:
Sunshine Plaza: Mickey, Minnie & Gang (Daily) until 4 pm
Bountiful Valley Farm: Flik (Daily) 10 am - 3 & 3:30-6:30
Hollywood Pic Backlot: Meet newest stars, near Disney Animation. 10 - 6 daily.

DCA doesn't have the number of attractions that DL has (something like 1/3, I believe). You can see everything, enjoy a leisurely lunch, and soak in the ambiance in DCA in a full day (without feeling rushed). Get there early, head straight to the back (the Paradise Pier area, with boardwalk-style rides), and work your way forward. Take advantage of e-tickets, and be aware that Soaring over California is by far the most popular ride. Therefore, get your Soaring e-ticket before mid-day.
