What are the New England April breaks?

We were supposed to be in Disney this week but had to cancel 2 days before arriving due to my grandfather being hospitalized and put in ICU. Now we are trying to decide when to reschedule our trip. I hear there are some school breaks towards the end of April for students in the Northeast. Not that I necessarily want to avoid those breaks, I just want to explore all my options before I book. For those of you that have school breaks in late April, could you please list the dates of those breaks? I thought long and hard we we booked our late January trip and now I have to start over. Any help would be appreciated.

Massachusetts April school vacation is the week of April 18-22 (Monday-Friday)

Our district only has the Friday 22 & monday the 25th but I know others in New York have off the entire 3rd week of april.

Most Connecticut schools are April 18 - 22 a well.

Up here in New Hampshire, the school vacations are last week of April (and for some reason the first week of March this year).

I only know this because we are taking a friend's kids to DL for vacation and this is the only week they can go, and as the single guy with no kids, going anywhere during school vacation is not a 'fun' thing.

We too have the week of 4/18-22 here on the "northshore" of Boston, but right now we are into our 3rd day of no school due to 3 feet of snow (and it is snowing right now again, with another 10 inches due!) there is talk of going into vacation days to make it up! But no matter we will be down April!

Forked River Schools are off the last week in April, as a lot of other NJ schools this year.

another NJ resident here. Rumson schools are closed April 11th - 15th yet Howell schools (and my daughters private school) are closed April 25th thru May 1st.

Basically any week in April is going to be a little busier as all the schools have different weeks off.

Thank you to everyone who fill me in on the the NE breaks this year. I will take all of that into consideration. We are so used to spring breaks being in March around here. Hope everyone who is heading down to see the mouse over there break has a great time. Who knows when we will reschedule.

Hi, Here in RI we also have the week of April 18-22. But I do not expect it to be too crowded, with Easter being in March. We have been to WDW twice when our Spring break was part of Easter Week, we really enjoyed spending Easter Sunday in the MK but it was MOBBED!! Hope your Grandfather is doing well and you will be visiting WDW SOON!! Two good thing about visiting in April is the weather is nice and warm and the Flower and Garden Show is at Epcot!! Joan
