Is it worth the 1TS credit? We are thinking of eating there on our arrival day in February.

Depends on who you ask!

It's hard to mess up a burger or a sundae though......we like it for lunch once each trip. But try to get there when it opens; if you go at peak dining times you'll have quite a long wait. It only has a handful of tables.

And if you go after Illuminations.....well, so will about 1,000 other people!

What about at 7pm on a Saturday (when the P&PP will be going on at the MK)?

Denise - We love Beaches and Cream! I normally wouldn't waste a ts credit on it (usually pay out of pocked) but if you are doing the Deluxe dining plan go ahead. We love the burgers, fries and shakes. DDs like the coke in the bottle, or homemade vanilla cokes. Of course sundaes are great - we have yet to try the Kitchen Sink but are determined to do this in July with our Grand Gathering Group!

Have fun!

We are on the DxDDP. Rees has watched Samantha Brown at the Y&BC almost every day in the hospital. We promised him we'd go and get a Kitchen Sink for us all to share!~ He's so excited. It would be our first day there. Fly in at noon, hit MK, then leave when P&PP starts and head to B&C. Thanks for the help!

Whenever we stay at YC Beaches and Cream is our traditional first day lunch. We hit it right when it opens (we take an early flight) and just love it.

As long as you're doing the deluxe dining plan (I would love to but since dd turned 10 no way I'll pay $70 a day to watch her eat chicken nuggets!) I would use the ts at Beaches and Cream without hesitation.

So glad to hear that you've left the hospital and things are looking better. You and your family were in my prayers.

Although I cannot answer your question and wanted to see what the hours were since we plan on being there November 27, I wanted to say I am SO happy you are planning your trip as planned! :grouphug:

We love B&C but I cannot justify spending my TS credits on it...we usually pay OOP for that one...darn, one more meal at Disney than I have a credit for!!! :lmao: If you do end up going and you like peanut butter and choc. do not miss the no-way jose...it is to DIE for and plenty big enough to share...one of my favorite deserts at WDW besides Ohana's Bananas Foster Bread Pudding...it is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! :cloud9:

I just read your posting concerning your son...please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers...I am glad he will be home for Thanksgiving...it will be a wonderful holiday for your family...I hope things continue to progress in a positive manner...God works in mysterious way and provides for us when we are completely drained of our "will" sometimes...keep your chin up!!

Thanks for the prayers, everyone! Can't wait to try the Kitchen Sink. Lord knows that Rees needs the calories. Me, on the other, hand... well, I'm just going to splurge!

Unless they've changed in the last couple of months, the Kitchen Sink is not included in the DDP. We were told that we couldn't even use all four of our DDP dessert credits for it. We had to pay OOP for it. They did accept the DDE 20% off card for it though.

Thanks. I figured we were just going to buy it. My DS is really looking forward to it! Can you get desserts to go there? Ie pick something like a milkshake to take back to the resort with the DDP credit?
