February, March, April, June, August, September, October and December are available as Use Years. There are no January, May, July or November Use Years.

DVC has never offered any explanation regarding Use Years.

Why is it called use year and use month. The use year should be every year

Your use year is every year. It just begins on a designated month each year. It is like corporate or government fiscal years which often do not follow a calendar year. The venacular is the same as fiscal years, e.g, many will speak of a company as having an October fiscal year meaning it runs from Oct 1 to Sep 30. Similarly a DVC member can have an Oct use year which runs the same period.
