What are the current specials/incentives for joining DVC right now??

Just wondering what incentives are going on right now to join dvc right now. Do they still have the MB buyback or anything like that?? is now a good time to join or should we wait??

While MB is still in force, the BEST incentive to buy right now is because the cost will go up to $84 per point on December 1.

The best "incentive" for you should be to buy a RESALE........you can do much better than through Disney ......

We were there the last week of October. They were offering $5 per point back at Beach Club Villas, and $15 per point back at Vero Beach. (that is, $75 at BCV and $65 at VB).

After years of hemming and hawing, my wife and I finally took the plunge last week.

We bought to beat the price increase in December ... but we also got to bank a full year of points to use next year and stay a loooong time.

Buying at the end of the year was almost like getting a 150 pt. bonus!

Maybe, maybe not. It seems that on a bigger package you can almost always do better through resale, but if you are starting at the 150 point package then it ends up about the same once you factor in closing costs, points available, etc.

In order to use the Magical Beginnings incentive, you must purchase at least 100 points. I wanted to do this at BCV, but we only want 50 points, so no can do.
