Taking my 2 nephews for the first Disneyworld trip from April 28 - May 6th.
Just wondering for those who have been at this time what crowd levels are like and how tough adr's are at most(not the biigies) restaurants are to get.

Thanks for any and all responses. :cool1:

It is a great time of year to go. Good weather, light crowds (there are always crowds, but it is lighter then.) Best of all (for me at least) is the flower and gardern festivel at Epcot. Prices tend to be good (airfare and rental car too.)

Early May is a favorite time to go. Now my favorite time to be in FLA instead of MI is March, but May is the best time to be in WDW in my book (we normally do a side trip to Vero Beach at that time too, this year we are doing DCL for the 1st time that week. :thumbsup2

I went during the first week of this past May, and the crowds aren't as bad as later on, but it's not "slow" either. We stayed at Pop Century, and there was standing room only on most buses. I would definitely recommend snagging some ADR's for places that you think that you'll want to eat at due to the popularity of the dining plan. :thumbsup2

We went last year 4/21 - 4/29 and the weather was great. It was a little crowded during the first couple of days but as the week went on the crowds were fine. We did not have a problem with ADRs, but I do not think that the DDP was as widely used as it is today.

We are already planning to go again this year at that same time.
