What are the crowds like Feb 21-24?

I know the 18th is a holiday but I don't think schools are out other then that day. Has anyone been at this time of year before?

Actually, several school tracks are now giving the entire "President's Week" off school. DLR increases it's operating hours in both parks to accommodate the larger crowds. I don't think the parks are as busy as summer peak period, but it isn't really a slow time.

This is actually when we are going as well. We were there last year in February as well. It was really nice. I expect Wednesday and Thursday will be good days for us to ride big rides a lot and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is when we will be able to catch the parades and stuff that doesn't run when it's not as busy.

I know a number of school districts here in northern CA, including ours, have that whole week off.

We were there in 06. Crowds weren't bad, but it certainly wasn't empty. If you get there early and use FP, lines should not be bad at all. I think the highest wait we saw was an hour for Space (which had just opened 50th Anniversary) and that was at like the peak of the day crowdwise. Also Monsters Inc. had a long line, but that is only because it had opened a month before. Now Monsters never gets a line longer than 20 min even during peak times.

Were off the 18th and the 19th of Feb. We will be there the 16-19 because I'm a para and can only go when schools on break. I have never been to DL on Presidents week but have been to WDW at that time and it was very crowded.

darn wow didnt even think about that my fionce bday iss the end of that month and thats when were doing our third trip on our Ap's lol ill have to make sure to try to miss some major crouds(2009)

my son's bday is the 17th and we went last year that weekend and it was nice. . .

it seems to me, now I will go double check, but it seems to me they are in school the entire week. . . nope, they are off the 15th and the 19th. . .

I remember reading on this board that some high school bands are playing on Saturday the 23rd. I wonder if that will affect crowds?

I also remember hearing that. Does anyone know if this is a "big" thing or will it not affect the crowds that weekend?
