I was just thinking about trying to get a two bedroom at the Boardwalk Nov. 26-Dec 2. I have points at SSR and plan to make reservations at the 11 month window for a two bedroom. I was just wondering what are the chances of getting a two bedroom at Boardwalk or any where else during that time at the 7 month window?

You never know until you call, but that time at the BWV is arguably among the more difficult to get at the 7 month mark.

If you are willing to call day by day as soon as MS opens each day, and are willing to waitlist for any day(s) not immediately available, you have a pretty good chance of snagging a PV - Pool/Garden. Getting a standard view or a guarantted Boardwalk view will be much more difficult. Those are possible at 7 months, but very, very unlikely.

If those are hard weeks to get reservations for other properties, when would be a good time to go?

January, the 1st two weeks of February, May and September are the easiest times to book, followed by the spring break and summer months. Fall is generally more difficult - especially for the EPCOT resorts. December is tough everywhere.

That said, many here will say they always get what they want if they call at 7 months. Don't let me discourage you from trying - if you follow the startegy I mentioned previously, you should get what you want, even for the more difficult times of the year.

There is always some availability at the smaller DVC resorts at the 7 month window. Butthe competiton for those rooms will continue to increase as the number of DVC members increases - so that is why we advise people to buy where they want to stay most often.
