Hi y'all, I had a MAJOR dumb moment and only realized recently that I never booked our last night for our upcoming stay. Not sure how I missed that or messed up that bad, but now we have no home for the last night. I am on waitlists, but what are the chances they will come through or that ill be able to secure a night elsewhere between now and then (1/25/2020.)

In the meantime I am going to book a cash room somewhere, but hoping to not have to shell out that extra cash if we don't have to.

Wow, so sorry for you. I can't answer the question for you but I will keep my fingers crossed and wish you luck out. Also sending you some pixie dust!

I think it is a very good idea to make the cash reservation so you can have piece of mind that you have a home for the night. Good luck to you.

Watch the availability on the DVC member site several times a day. We were on a 9 day trip in the fall in a 2BR but MIL and FIL had to back out at last minute so I bumped down, while on the way to check in and then while on the trip, to a 1BR. We had a split stay booked and the first part was at BWV where they were kind enough to break our 2 BR lock off into a 1BR for us. But the second part was a dedicated 2BR at SSR so I had to watch for a studio or 1BR to open. And several options came up during the week. And even the night before switching resorts, a 1BR at BWV popped open so we snagged that up and didn't have to switch resorts at all. But we also had found Poly, OKW, AKV and SSR through the week. So things pop up all the time as folks change plans. So check like 4 times a day, or more, if you can.

Definitely check the website a lot. I have checked for different trips and had nothing I wanted and an hour later, got something.

If you are flexible, don’t care about room size...studios will be the hardest...then you could end up with something.

When I gets within 7 days, call MS...sometimes they have things that aren’t on website. Might even want to try calling now.
