What are the chances?

So we were interested in renting points for our wine and dine marathon trip in November, but it seems everything is booked. In your experience, what are the chances of something opening back up? We are planning to go ahead and book through wdw at a moderate, but would really love to stay at either BCV, BWV, or VWL.

I would say unlikely. Lots of members buy at either BCV, BLT, or BWV specifically be be able to book there early for their F&W trips. The marathons just add demand.

Sure, life happens & folks cancel trips all the time, but I wouldn't count on it.

Last year for the W&D 1/2 we stayed at SSR until after the race, which was good since it was host resort with transportation to/from the race activities and we didn't have a car.

Then on Sunday we moved to VWL for the rest of the week. We got the last studio right at 7 months and right at 8am with online booking. I know this because after I booked it I rechecked availability online and there was none, and when I called MS to make requests, the CM confirmed there were no more studios.

So maybe you could do something like that, depending on how long your stay will be.
