of getting a great deal on a rental car this weekend? We are going down for the long weekend and I really want to get to the outlets, but its a budget trip.

Are there ever any last minute great deals to be had?

Last-minute rentals can be iffy. I just checked National's "Last Minute Special Rates" and the only Florida location is Tallahassee.

But there is a coupon on their website for $20 off a weekend rental (good for up to 5 days). There's also an free upgrade coupon if it saves you more.

Priceline might be a good alternative if you're not picky about which agency you rent from.

Good luck! Outlet shopping sounds like a fun way to spend the weekend.

Check Budget online, I have booked awesome weekend deals from them, some as low as $19.99 a night. The cheaper rates end on Mondays but Sat and Sun are usually low.
