What are the chances?

I have a trip booked (have made the deposit, but no payments) for February 3-9, 2008. Because of financial issues, I may have to cancel that trip. What are the odds of being able to get a room and flights for the same week if I try to book another trip in January?? Is less than a month out too late to book??

Call and check for the most accurate information though, instead of relying on website info. I am not sure which week in january they are holding the Marathon. If this is going on, then I am sorry, but you will probably have a very difficult time getting ressies then. I just looked it up and the races are starting just after you would be leaving, so I woould figure that many people participating in the races, will already be checked in earlier that week. All you can do is call and check.

Call WDW and see what they say. As to the flights, if you are traveling on off days, Tues, Wednesday, Thursday, you won't have any problem getting a flight but you may pay more.

I always fly Southwest and they do have some great ding fares (last minute) but with them, they earlier you book, the less the price of the ticket.

Hope everything works out! If you do get tickets for air, make sure you can change them with only a slight change fee!

Thanks everyone. It's really hard being a single mom trying to afford a WDW vacation.

I'm pinching every penny and stretching every dollar to try to make this work. If I can't, my DD will be heart broken.

Thanks again for the advice. I'll keep checking the website and call Disney. I had even thought of calling them and seeing what is the absolute LAST day I can pay for the trip I have booked. I might be able to buy myself enough time and pay when $$$ isn't so tight.
