What are the chances?

We will be in WDW July 5-15. I have heard the parks can fill to capacity and they close the doors so to speak. What are the chances of this during these days? About what time does it happen? Say we leave for dinner etc., in the afternoon could we not get back in at night? Should we stay in the parks and spend the extra money on dinner there? In the morning if arriving at opening time will there be too many people to get in then? What about waterparks also? Is it the same? What is the maximum number of people allowed in the parks? Hope all you can help out with this. I am worried after all this planning for our first trip we may not get to enjoy everything after all.

Are you staying onsite? Sometimes the parks are closed to off-site guests, but on site guests are still allowed into the parks.

No we are having to stay offsite in a rental house. Wish we could stay at Disney since this is our first trip, but maybe next time.

We were there in July in 03 - we did not have any crowd problems except when the fireworks were over and everyone wanted to leave at the same time.

You are going right after the 4th of July so you should not have any problems. It will probably be busy right after the 4th and then will clear out. We went the week after a few years ago and we had no problems with crowds.
