What are the chances the pools will be open at all this week?

trying really hard to not be really disappointed with the weather this week. Since it’s not supposed to get out of the 50s, be rainy, and windy apparently, what are the chances they will open the resort pools? This is our 2nd week and I didn’t pack for it to be this cold/crappy out (it was forecasted to be in the mid 60s not the low 50s).

We've used the pools when it's been in the 40s. It was in the low 50s to high 40s the entire week we were there and the pools were oon every day.

All 3 pools at AoA (where we are staying) were closed yesterday and are still closed as of noon today. Really hoping they open at some point.

Poly pool wasn’t open this morning but it’s open now. No one is swimming, of course. Lifeguards are in full winter gear. Pretty funny scene.

When we arrived last Thursday it was cloudy, windy and in the 50's but there were kids swimming away at the pool at FQ. Crazy if you ask me. Even heated it was cold when you got out. The weekend was great though. Today isn't so awful. Tomorrow is going to be

They’re all still closed. Girl at the check in for customer service said likely tomorrow. Riiiiight since it’s supposed to rain all day.

It would be nice if they were open on Sat and Sun for the runners to ice down their legs after the half and full marathons.

Ugh, yes, tomorrow, the day I arrive, is not looking pleasant at all!

We come this time every year, and the pools are usually open, even the cold years, but that may be a resort by resort call. I am hoping that the hot tubs are open at AKL, as I like to soak my legs and feet after a day in the parks. At least I will be at Disney!

Not sure how that negatively effects swimming.

Saw this reported elsewhere ...

Due to expected inclement weather conditions, all Walt Disney World Resort Pools will be closed on Wednesday, January 3. However, resorts with hot tubs will open them from 10:00am-8:00pm.

Resort pools are expected to reopen Thursday, January 4.
