What are the chances of me getting a room?

If I just went to a Disney resort (All-Star/Pop Century) without booking them by phone or online.. what are the chances do you think I could get a room? Do you have to reserve rooms days/weeks in advance, or would I be safe? If there's a certain amount of days, how long? I don't know how Disney does their hotels, as I never stayed at one before. :confused3

Thanks!

This time of year may be a problem with walk up reservations. You might go to the Walt Disney World website and put in the dates you are interested in and see what comes up now. Some of the resorts are sold out so they will not show up if you put in value resorts. They will give you some other options instead. At least then you would have some idea of what might be available and what you are looking at price wise. It could be risky to do what you are suggesting. I hope you have a back up plan. For the time frame you are talking about many people make their reservations a year in advance. I think the fourth of July week is one of the busiest times next to Christmas.

Well, I already got planes in 9 days.. I'm just going back early/mid August and seeing how I would already be in Florida (without computer), maybe I could just walk in there and get one:cool1:

Thanks!
