What are the chances more times will open up w/SW?

I read about Carol's great rate of $95.20 rt from Nashville to Orlando and just booked 4 myself. I wanted to fly out at 9:10 but could only get 11:15. I wanted to come home on Sunday night but had to settle for Saturday night or Sunday at 8:00 in the morning and that just wasn't going to work coming from Vero so I took Saturday night. What are the odds that if I keep checking, something will open up for the first flight out from Nashville or that something else will open up for our trip home on Sunday? Will it matter if I check by phone or internet? Any advice would be appreciated!

Are you looking for seats or for discounted seats? Seats always open up as people change their plans but if the flight is almost sold out the seats that open up may be full fare.

I am hoping that they will! To get the good rates(we got home late and almost missed these great rates!) we had to fly into Tampa. We are still flying home from Orlando, but I'd like to change it to flying into Orlando, so I'll just keep checking the site everyday probably. Oh, and we fly in and out of Nashville, too.

When I originally booked my SW flights for the dates I wanted, the only thing available was the last flight of the day. I took it and crossed my fingers. the csr told me the chances were slim to none of me getting an earlier flight (during Spring Break). I checked online and by phone like a nutcase! I got lucky, have moved my flight up twice. We're on the second flight of the day now! BTW -- with four days to go, I'm still checking and hoping for a cancellation on that first flight!

When I found the opening online, I found it faster to call and have the csr GRAB those seats for me!

Don't give up, just keep checking, you just never know. GOOD LUCK!
