What are the chances? BWV early Dec 08?

What are my chances on getting 2 bedroom boardwalk view at the 7 month mark? or even a 2 bedroom?

I would say slim.....but right at the 7 month mark you may get lucky. But it would be highly doubtful that you would get a boardwalk view. You never truly know unless you try.....good luck.

We usually book our home resort before the 7 month window. Then at 7 months we call to see if BWV or BCV is available. If so, we switch; if not we get it wait-listed. We've had pretty good luck with the wait-lists.

Any BW room without the waitlist - maybe (I'm guessing at that time of year, consecutive days, book day by day, no waitlist 40%)

Using the waitlist, calling right at seven months, any BW room - good - 80%

Using the waitlist, forgetting to call until six months out - poor.

(Numbers pulled out of a place that gets starred out on the DIS).

I was told I wouldn't get a 2BR at BCV at 4 months out during the summer and I did - even MS was surprised. Anything is possible.

I was able to book a BWV preferred view studio at the end of May 2007 for December 2007. We w'listed for a BW view and it came through.....mid September, maybe???

It was FABULOUS!

We're lucky we didn't walk out of there with 160 BW points so we could ALWAYS book at 11 months. Oh well, maybe after we pay off VWL......

For several years I tried to book BWV for early December, and any size villa would have worked. I never got anything at 7 months. In fact, the waitlists never came through for me ever.

This is why I purchased my BWV contract. Then I married my husband, who came along with his own BWV contract, LOL!

I just finished booking my Boardwalk view for Dec 3-11 yesterday day by day, while I was there. It was hard to remember to do every morning during breakfast, and once, I got connected just as Goofy came to our table. Good luck trying to get a 2 BR at seven months. Can you do day by day waitlist? I would think you would have to be on the phone right away at 9:00. I don't know exactly how waitlisting works.
