What are the chances--BC question

I was able to book a room at the BC 10/25-30, although we plan to stay until 11/1. I also have a reservation at the BCV for the entire week-- these are during free dining, and I'm hedging my bets by holding the two until payment is due. What do you think the chances are of a room opening up at BC on a weekend during FD/F&W? It would be so much easier if we could stay in the same room/get the additional dining credits. Thanks for any advice!

While you hold 2 rooms "hedging your bets". another family can not get any room at all. I have a problem with that attitude

I think finding two additional nights in the same room category at BC over a F&W weekend (Halloween weekend at that!) are slim to none. Not only that, but there have been reports on this board of people having all their reservations cancelled by Disney if they are holding more than one. BCV is awesome. You will be so close to EP and the Marketplace and have use of the quiet pool. You also get a big, coffee pot! I've stayed at both BC and BCV and actually preferred BCV. We stayed in a room overlooking the "woods" section - it was so quiet!

So, you're saying you're hoping more nights will open up for the BC? I doubt it. If you have BCV I'd stick with that and be happy!

I agree. slim to none and even if one opens, you will probably have to move anyway. Unless you are able to find one you can book for the entire week, cancel the original BC and BCV. I really think you should keep the BCV and cancel the other.

The free dining promotion for US residents is over. If you don't already have free dining, your chances of getting it are zero. They're not going to open up more FD this fall.
