what are the best souveigners?

What are the best souveigners to get from each ride?? I have heard of pins, are there special pins for each ride??

I am not sure if they have pins for each ride, but there are some pins for rides like Test Track, Tower of Terror, etc. Sorry, I can't be more specific.

Another great souvenir are the pressed pennies and quarters that can be found throughout the parks. I have seen a lot of these machines everywhere.

We do the Pins and Post Cards.....

When we get home, we scan our pins from that trip, and the go in the scrapbook near the pics of us on the rides, or post cards of the attraction.

I love the "floatie pens"- regular pens with attraction thingies that float back and forth.

I have them for Test Track, Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Kilimanjaro Safaris and some others I can't remember offhand.

When I reach in my purse for a pen and find one of these, it always makes me smile.

There are machines located throughout the parks and resorts that will take a penny and press it into an oblong shape with a variety of designs. The cost is 50 cents (plus the penny ). I don't think there's anything else at WDW that costs as little as 51 cents!

I'm a shot glass collector and all the major attractions that have a store you exit through has them.

I like to get a new and different photo album for each trip...that way when I'm looking at pictures later, even the album reminds me of my WDW trip!

I like the pins also. I only bought 2 last week though. My favorite is the Tink sweatshirt that I bought because it's so darn cold when I get home I have to put it on and it just feels like you are there for just a moment getting ready to go to out in the morning to a park. I usually buy a coffee mug too so I can have a bit of Disney every morning with my coffee and my kids bought me a cool one this time with characters and rides all over it that says MOM on it. Love that! Bought a Mickey ice cube tray to so the kids can have a bit of Disney in their drinks at home. Fun stuff.

We always do the penny and quarter presses, and postcards. The postcards are better than any photo I could take, anyway! LOL

While in the MK, in January, I went into the Fire Station to look for my son the postcard of Mickey shaking the Fireman's hand. I had seen it on someone's signature here on the DisBoard and really wanted to get it for my son who is a fireman. I had it framed and he loves it and wants me to get some more when I go back in May for his fellow firemen, as well as the large poster for them to hang up in the fire station.

Also in the same area, I found Tinkerbell hanging on a wire with a suction cup. I bought it to go on my car windshield, but when I got home it wound up hanging on the edge of my computer. She is sitting sideways and looks like she is looking at the computer screen. Between her and the little Disney character totem pole I bought at the Wilderness Lodge that sits right next to my computer I'm reminded of my trip everytime I sit down at my desk.

On our last trip, we bought magnets of every ride we rode(except for the Haunted Mansion, they were out all week long). We ended up with close to 30 magnets. I guess those shops we exit into are good for something.
