What are the best shoes for WDW??

I'm bringing with my sneakers and seeing how we will be there end of Nov till 8th of Dec it might be cold so I wasn't going to bring sandles.. what would be the best shoes to have for doing Disney (12 days).

I always wear sneakers. This year I didn't buy new ones, and wish I had. You need good support (mine were worn out), but they need to be broke in!

The best advice I can give; start walking in those shoes alot before you go. I have been to Disney several times, and didn't start walking early this year. My feet were so sore! Walk, walk, walk.

Any kind of sandal.

I can't wear leather sneakers with socks in 90 degree + weather. My feet get sweaty - ick.

A lot of people on the Dis love Crocs for WDW (you can check them out at www.crocs.com). I just got a pair and they are extremely comfortable, so I'll probably bring them with me when we go in the fall.

I will also get a pair of Tretorn tennis shoes (don't know how old you are, but they were popular back in the 80's during the "preppy" years!). My mom, sister, and I wore them to WDW on our family trips. They are very comfortable and have lots of padding on the soles. They are a bit pricy, but well worth it IMHO. They can be found at nordstrom.com and tretorn.com.

Birkenstocks Arizonas. I love them and never get blisters from them. I wore them for 7 days at Disney World last December. I do have crocs but they begin to hurt my feet after 6 or so hours.
Looking forward to getting new Birks for my September trips.
