What are the best restaraunts with two boys?

First trip in July and getting ready to book reservations with our two boys ages 8 and 7, but want to make sure I haven't missed any musts.

Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge was one of our son's favorite restaurant along with the Sci-Fi and 50 Prime Time at Hollywood Studios. Out of those three I think Whispering Canyon has the best food but that just is my opinion You'll probablly get lots of opinions. As for character breakfasts we really enjoyed Tusker House in AK. Very good food I think. Happy Planning!!!!

my younger boys (8 and 9) favorites were HDDR and Teppan Edo. They didn't want any character meals but loved the ones that had "shows" hence these being their favorites. Who can argue with this!

They also liked the Biergarten a lot and SciFi (although SciFi was from a previous trip)

We are trying the new T-Rex Restaurant w/ our boys this June. Search this site, some of the pictures are awsome!

My boys (6 & 10) liked T-Rex, but I found it rather loud. Still, its worth going to once. Rain Forest is also good.

Others have made some great suggestions, so I'll just add a few of the other places my kids like.

They like any place where there is something moving (typical boys) - The Garden Grill with the rotating booths and ability to see part of the land ride. The little CS place near IASW where they can watch the boats being loaded. San Angel Inn restaurant where they can watch the riders. Cosmic Rays where they can watch Sony Eclipse.

My boys (now 8 & 11) loved Sci-Fi - and also for CS they love Toy Story Pizza Planet because it's an arcade inside. They would seriously spend an entire day in there - I try to avoid it at all costs!

DS10's favorite character meal is Chef Mickey's and DD6's is Crystal Palace.

Chef Mickey's is probably their favorite character meal. I also thought Tusker House was good. They also liked Mama Melrose -- they love spaghetti!

CS meals: Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's.

DS said his favorites were Chef Mickey's breakfast and Cosmic Ray's. He begged to go back to Cosmic Ray's every time we hit MK.

Whispering Canyons is a must! They can be silly and wiggle and no one will notice! My son also enjoyed Sci-fi....but the rest of us didn't! Its loud in there!

My boys are 7 and 9. Musts for us are:

-A pirate cruise

-Sci-Fi lunch

-Chef Mickey's Breakfast

-Le Cellier (DS9 loves steak!)


They also really enjoy Teppan Edo, but it isn't a must.
