SPR are "secret porthole rooms" Thye are sold as Cat 10 inside deluxe rooms, but have portholes that are somewhat obstructed in varying degrees. These are all located on Deck 5 forward.
The Cat 11 and 12s are smaller than the veranda rooms, but are comfortable. I prefer Cat 11s as these are located on the upper decks.
The Cat 10 and 9 are deluxe inside rooms that are arranged more like the veranda rooms, and are the size of the veranda rooms. I think it all depends upon what you want from a room.

We were in 7001 in January. It is at the front of the ship at the end of the hall, nothing on the left side of the room. The door that the ship's officers take to the bridge is right outside the door. My son got to meet several officers that were on their way to work each day. Great location.
For Cat 11 inside staterooms, if you only have 2 or 3 people, we loved the "sideways" rooms in the forward part of deck 6. We were in 6015 and really liked the layout. I think they also have a few sideways rooms on deck 5.

Now why is that you like the sideways better? Is there more room? My parents are in that stateroom on Deck 5 for next year cruise. I was very skeptical of that room...
we had 7623 mid ship , deck 7 right by the secret deck which was lovely, handy access to everything and did'nt feel any motion in the rooms, plenty of storage and room for me , dh and ds 13, bed was lovely and comfy, bathroom small but adequate and room host great. cat 11, have a wonderful time, we slept like babies.
I stayed in a category 11 stateroom when i went on the wonder in April. There were 3 adults and we didnt feel cramped. Alot bigger than royal caribean staterooms.
I'm sorry, I am really trying to get a mental picture of these rooms. I have visited disney.com but I don't think it is telling the *real story*. Can someone recommend a website that has a picture of a Cat. 11 with a split bath?
