what are the best attractions other than Disney, Universal/SeaWorld ?

Newbie here. I'm planning a summer vacation with relatives in Orlando. We're spending 5 days at Disney and we'll have 2-3 extra days.

What are the best bang-for-the-buck options other than Universal and SeaWorld ? We're already spending a small fortune at Disney Parks and Resort and these two are too expensive. Plus, we can go to SeaWorld/Universal in California some other date. I'd like to know what other (good) options are out there for low/mid budgets?

We're trying to take a trip like this soon. Was supposed to be April vacation but we're trying to figure out now when to reschedule for. We're calling it our "Other side of Orlando" tour. We're a family of five- adult, adult, 5,2,2 and these were some of our maybes:

malls (yes, I know, potentially cost more, but it's good in the rain and there are a lot of things we don't have at home)

Leu Gardens

Orlando Science Center

and there is more but we subscribed to this newsletter which has lots of great info. It is geared towards families with kids, and technically I think it's geared to locals but still, it's all the non theme park stuff
