I was just thinking about some things that I would never do at Disney, but ended up doing anyways.

For one I'd never stay at a moderate resort...We're staying at CSR and really looking forward to it.

I'd never return to Disney after the room smoking ban...Can't wait to get there in November, following all the rules with a smile.

I'd never ride ToT never, ever again...so looking forward to that nauseated feeling again!

I'd never pay for the Dining Plan...I have more TS ressies than credits and still saving money.

I'd never ride Its a Small World ever again...I say this every trip and find myself on it every time.

What are some of your never do, but do anyway things?

Cute idea for a topic.

I said we'd never spend time in one of the Disney water parks, since we live near the biggest one in the country, and I wouldn't want to miss time in MK, AK, DS, EP. HOWEVER, it's on the agenda for this upcoming trip AND I'm actually looking forward to it after I watched the section about it on the planning DVD.

Go figure.

I told mysef I would NEVER ride Splash Mountain and back in October I did on an impulse and now it's one of my favourite rides. :teeth:

I said I would never ride the POOH ride at MK because I am not that big a Pooh fan. Well, guess what, I rode it twice last year and actually like it. :rolleyes1

I said I'd never ride ToT and I did and it rocks :thumbsup2

I said I would never ride Mission: Space...rode it, nearly threw up, felt hungover the rest of the trip, and actually felt sick on the escalater back at MCO two days later...

Definately won't ride it again! :)

Ditto. It ruined the rest of my day the day I went on it (our son and his girlfriend were the smart ones...they didn't listen to his dad...neither should I have)!:headache:

I always say I'm not going to rush around to try and do it all, but I always do rush trying to get in as much as I can.

I'm never doing that again on Rockin Roller Coaster and now rides it on every trip!:thumbsup2 BTW I LOVE Mission Space and told DW I wanted one in my back yard:rotfl2:

I said I would never go to WDW, and not for financial reasons, and I am going in 27 days!!!! :dance3:

Ditto on what someone else already said, we ALWAYS say we're not going to rush around and wear ourselves out..and yet we do it every time!
Here's hoping that I actually abide by that for our upcoming trip!

That I would never go on Stitch's great escape again. Went on with my niece and said not again. Then went again with my husband. Never again. Well, we'll see if that happens this next trip. :rolleyes1

I said I'd never take a child under the age of 5 to WDW...bad childhood memories of my own rotten sister...broke that rule when oldest DD was 4 because I was pregnant and I didnt want to wait another 6 years for #2 to be 5. Then got offered a free trip by the grandparents when DD#2 was 8 months, how do you say no to that? Yep, the 5 year rule went right out the window. DD#3 was 3 weeks old on her first trip. :)

I stupidly said, in front of witnesses, that I would never become one of those people who would go to DW year after year. We're on trip #3 in Oct. and are going again next year. I also said I'd never go on ToT but noone else will go on with my son, so guess who is.

After going on summit plummet last year I said I would NEVER go on it again,,, I'm off to Disney in 8 days, but I'm pretty sure I won't be going on it again :scared1:

Said I would never do a character dinner due to $$$. Well, we did one last May on our first night at WDW. Had dinner at Crystal Palace. It's was great and well worth it. We may do another one or two character meals when we go in May 2008.

Like a previous posted said, I said I would never take a baby to WDW. Well DD#1 is 3 1/2 and DD#2 is 13mos...were leaving for WDW in a month. I am so excited for the kids, also glad to hear that crystal palace was good DD#1 loves pooh and we have a CL scheduled at CP.

I swore even before DD was born that I would not let her get interested in the princesses. Well, her first sign of interest in the princesses threw that right out of the window. Now we do every character meal that included the princesses and she was a ton of princess toys. Oh well, the power of Disney is just too much.
