Anyone want to share some traditions you do with your kids? I know some people must do Chef Mickey's on every trip. How about you?

Electrical Water Pageant! It's so silly, but it brings back all sorts of warm fuzzies from my childhood. I can't go to WDW without seeing it at least once!

When we went to Disney when I was little Mom sent us personal invites to Disney from Mickey. we got them in the mail and it was like Mickey Mouse himself wanted us to come. Talk about a bunch of freaked out little kids in a good way :rotfl: I have done something along those lines for my daughter this year and plan on doing it in the future.

DH and I are fireworks people! We absolutely LOVE Illuminations! This will be our first trip with kids, so hoping they an stay up to see the shows!

We've only been for one trip but I'm already making a list of things we MUST repeat.
Sitting close to the castle for Wishes is a must on future trips. We just so happened to sit there on our trip because a bench in front of the castle opened and we were tired so we decided to wait for the fireworks there. It wasn't the best view of the actual fireworks...which was fine with me because one of my favorite memories of the trip was the castle projection show. I just loved it. If I want fireworks, IllumiNations is a must ;) and we will also definitely do that again.
I think the only must repeat meal is Tusker House. The kids want to do BOG for lunch again but they didn't care for the food, so I'm not sure.
We will get new pressed pennies each trip, the kids loved that and I loved how much they loved it considering how inexpensive it was. I will also continue the 'tradition' of letting them pick one pin from the pin store in downtown disney on the last day of our trip.

Spend a break watching the dancing water at Epcot. Biergarten. Dated ornament and picture frame.

Breakfast at Crystal Palace, dinner at T-Rex.

Space Mountain is always the first ride of the trip.

Must ride It's a Small World first.

Must have a Milkshake and Onion Rings at SciFi

Must make a wish the moment Tink flies during Wishes.

We take a stroll down Main Street at Rope Drop. My mom is an early bird, mostly cause she hates being rushed. So once we're in MK we take a nice slow walk down Main Street, look into all the windows, take photos and just enjoy the morning. It sets a nice pace for the rest of the day. It's something that DBF and I did when we went as well, and we will likely do it with our little girl too.

We take a picture of us standing on the bridge to Tomorrow Land with the castle in the background. It's fun to see how much the kids have grown each time we go. We also ride Spaceship Earth and It's a Small World as many times as we can!

We absolutely HAVE to go to Magic Kingdom on our first day - doesn't matter which rides in which order as long as we're there!

Chef mickeys on our arrival day for dinner.

Always watch the Water parade at least once.

Always watch the fireworks from the pool at least once and then go to bed with soaking wet hair!

A new favorite is the whispering canyon cafe for dinner on a non park day.

I think another new favorite is going to be trex since we ate there in April for lunch and loved it!

We eat at the sunshine food court or whatever it is called in the Land.

Get a new ornament (but we do that for every vacation).

Turkey leg at least once as well as a pretzel from Germany.

Early breakfast at the Crystal Palace ~~ love taking a photo in front of Castle with little to no crowds.
