Hi, We have a trip planned for September. The first 5 nights we will be on the DDP but we are staying in a 2 bedroom villa with my parents and they are leaving. DH, DD and I will be staying 3 more nights. We are moving to the Dolphin so we can't have the DDP. We enjoy sitting down to dinner. What are some of your favorite less expensive TS? Maybe under $20 per person. Thanks!

Have you tried looking at the menus posted online? I suppose at lunchtime you can get under $20 per person, but I'd feel hard pressed to get that for dinnertime.

If you'll be in Epcot, the Rose and Crown is pretty good, not too expensive. They have a child's menu as well. As far as Magic Kingdom goes, I love Tony's, which is around your price range as well (child's menu as well). For HS, 50's Prime Time Cafe (child's menu as well). There really aren't that many TS in Animal Kingdom, but you could get a good counter service. Yak and Yeti is CS and TS, but the TS is a bit pricey. Have a great time on your vacation!!

We would recommend the Trails End at Fort Wilderness...It is 20.99 per adult...The buffet selection is not enormous but they have some "homestyle" favorites and the food is actually pretty good...We like the atmophere...It is great to go there if you are planning an evening at MK...

Hop the boat over to MK for fireworks and fun after a good, cheap meal ;)

We have enjoyed the Plaza a lot. 50s Prime Time is also fun.

I know you said dinner, but I really like the lunch menu, and prices at Liberty Tree Tavern. I don't enjoy the dinner, but lunch as your big meal there is very nice. We planned to try The Plaza last trip, but ended up canceling, when we went to Epcot instead of MK on our last day. Oh and another one would be lunch at Kona Cafe.

Hi
Seconded....love the place. Tusker House at lunch is also a great option.

50's Prime Time and Sci Fi at DHS! I love both. :)

You may be able to eat at some places at Epcot for dinner uner $20 if you order one of the cheaper things on the menu...

Buffets at dinner are typically around $26.99, so for about $7 more you'd get all you can eat!

Thanks everyone, I will have to go back over the menus. I am willing to spend more but I wanted to see what was out there for a bit less. Thanks again!

My choice would be Biergarten for lunch which is under $20 and has quite a bit of good food.

If you really like the menu of somewhere or want someplace that is a little bit above budget, don't hesitate to share meals, many of the portions are large enough to split! We do this often when we don't use the DDP and it works out nicely...just the right amount of food and it also gives the opportunity to try some more things when undecided!

We love Sci Fi for a reasonable meal and generally share portions here.
We've never been, but Plaza would be on my list in this situation!
Also, it's not TS, but we LOVE Earl of Sandwich in DTD. We would take that over some TS actually.
Good luck and have fun planning!
