What are some good, non-character dinner places for families with small children?

We have a couple of ADRs for character dining, but there's only so much of that food we NY-ers can take.

We are taking the kids to Kona one night - what would be another good TS restaurant for kids with decent food?

Thanks very much!

Jes

Cape May Cafe (buffet without characters for dinner)

Coral Reef

'Ohana (dinner)

50s PT is a good one. The kids might be fascinated by the decor. Another option is O'hanas. We have been going there since dd was young. She loves it. They involve the kids with music and games.

Liberty Tree Tavern has a good family style meal. There are no characters there anymore. My daughter also loved Tony's when she was a young child. Whispering Canon has a lot of food kids would like and it's a fun casual atmosphere. Boma and Tusker House has a good selection for kids who like to try new things.

We loved the buffet at Cape May in the Beach Club Resort. It was very good and lots for everyone to choose from. Also make it a fun adventure like we did by taking the boat from Disney Studios to the Beach Club. The kids loved it.

Coral Reef ( lots of fish etc to look at)

Boma - we loved breakfast there and it was a lot of fun to explore AKL and see the animals.

Lots of wonderful recommendations in this thread. I especially like Boma, Cape May Cafe and Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. Another place worth considering is Yak & Yeti at the Animal Kingdom.

Epcot: Chef de France or Le Celliers
DHS: Sci Fi Diner or Mamma Melrose
MK: Pinocchio House or Columbia Harbor House (quick service - great food)
AK: Tuskerhouse or Yak and Yeti

FW: Hoopdee Doo Review
AKL:Boma (this resort is great for the little ones to check out)

our kids (boy 6, girl 2) really like artist point (salmon), trails end buffet (pony rides and playground, but buffet), ohana (coconut races etc.), kona cafe (sushi, deserts) , california grill (same), chefs de france (Remy the rat comes around but not really character), and tokyo dining (sushi etc.). And sanaa (naan bread, soups, fish, animals outside). We havent taken them to coral reef in awhile bc the adults got kind of tired ofit, but it always went over well too. Those are there favorites, but fwiw, son loves sashimi and salmon, daughter loves soups, so that is probably some of it.
