Anyone who's been recently know how long queues are for the new Buzz ride? Is it FastPass? Is it worth going there first thing? We are going in May Half Term.

I'm trying to get a plan together.... :rotfl2:

Michelle as it opened last week hopefully someone will check in :goodvibes

Don't know about queues - but I do know that it's a Fastpass ride, if that's any help. :goodvibes

Hi There,

Got back earlier this week.

Buzz is on Fastpass, but are being snapped up quickly - I believe at 12pm one day when I was looking the fastpass time was being displayed at 17:30 - 18:00!.

The queues is looking at 1 hour. This is based on the period April 10th - 12th.

Enjoy!.

Looks like it is as popular as the other fast pass rides :)

Thanks for the info Iain! Looks like its worth going there to get FP early on.

Sure is - but the've still got this annoying habit of having the FP machines covered up on some attractions.

Hi there - we were at DLP from 10th -13th april - as we were Disney Hotel guests we could get into the park from 8am, instead of 10am and this is the case for most of April.
Buzz ride wasn't supposed to be open until 10am but we found it was open when we got there about 9am. Very small queues, approx 10-20 minute waiting time was showing but the queues moved steadily, and we were on our way to Planet Z before we knew it.
On Thurs 13th we rode with Buzz three times in succession in half an hour. Whilst standing in the moving queues we did laugh at the people who were waiting for fastpass tickets to open whilst we kept going past them.
We all loved this ride, great fun either shooting at Zurg and the targets or spinning the car round and there is a great opportunity to buy a photo of yourselves - 24 euros in limited edition frame. Would recommend it to all ages - our two kids (aged 5 years and 36 years!!) loved it. :thumbsup2

Hi -

In Easter week, queues quickly got to 70 mins plus, and fastpasses sold out quickly. But FP works well on this ride, so would recommend going straight to Discoveryland and either trying to ride straight away or getting FP. On one day we got to Discoveryland for about 10.05, and got FP for 11.25-11.55. Whilst waiting went to Star Tours which was a walk - on. Buzz does at least seem to be taking the heat off some of the other adjacent rides
