What are Quest Author points for

I have put on a couple quests and I was wondering if anyone knows what the quest author points are for. hmm I have done lots of personal quests and some people that have made quests have a lot of points. Maybe VMK is planning on doing something for people that have put on quests depending on how many quest points they have. Idk Anyone have any thoughts on this.

I have asked a host they didn't know, I wrote to VMK no response. Guess we have to wait and see.

I usually get five stars on my quest but no author points. lol
