What are people listing for isolation plans on Arrive Can?

Teachers have to mask for 14 days post international travel. We visit the US so often I’ll have my mask on til July lol.

We crossed over in Detroit last week and a few days later received an email from the Government of Canada saying:
"
IF YOU:
  • Were NOT randomly selected to complete COVID-19 molecular testing
THEN, YOU MUST:
  • for the 14 days after you entered Canada, monitor yourself for symptoms of COVID-19; and
  • maintain a list of the names and contact information of every person you have come into close contact with during the 14-day period AND all of the places you have been
So nothing about masking for 14 days. 🤷‍♀️
I received that too after our day trip. But I still mask anyway in stores, etc.
My friends husband has Covid now. They returned from a NYC trip last Sunday. They both are very cautious and normally mask too

I am going on an Alaskan cruise this summer and although I know testing will be random on return, we need to provide an isolation plan. I live on the east coast and flying home the day we get off. Do we put our home address or a hotel in Vancouver? This is already stressing me out even though we don’t sail until August.

I would see what DCL's recommendation is.

Per https://www.canada.ca/en/public-hea...ring-leaving-canada-cruise-ship-covid-19.html "If you test positive while on your cruise, and the cruise ends in Canada, you will need to complete your isolation in Canada as organized and paid for by the operator."

Actually, see the Know Before You Go information on the DCL website. DCL tells you exactly what to put for the quarantine plan to board the ship: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/why-cruise-disney/experience-updates/canada-protocols/

A lot of that is also for Americans and others who are entering Canada and not citizens. Wouldn’t it be nice if this could just go away, Covid is everywhere. I am fully vaccinated and my province still masks as does the school I work at. But the paperwork on both sides is very exhausting.

Yes, but you can ignore the parts that are for travelers entering Canada before the cruise and just use the part that is relevant.

And of course keep watching the site as the info and attached requirements may change again before your cruise !
