What are our chances of getting an SSR studio at 7 months

starting the day before Good Friday? I am trying to decide whether to rent points or book our home resort at 11 months and change to SSR at 7 months. I am undecided because it is Easter and a very busy time of the year. I would appreciate your views.

The best thing is to book at your home resort and switch at 7 months....so you are at least guaranteed a room.

Since you are looking at SSR, I would say your chances are pretty good.

I would say pretty good. I got a studio at SSR (not my home resort) for my trip March 15-March 20 and I booked in December or January, I think.
I also added on a night (March 15) and that was definitely in January.
The resort is HUGE!

With the exception of New Year's Eve, I would be shocked if there were any time of the year that you couldn't get a studio at SSR at the 7 month mark.

OP: No way would I recommend renting SSR points to get the home resort booking advantage - it's just not necessary (except possibly for New Year's Eve). You'll be fine booking at 7 months, even for Easter.

SSR and OKW always seem to have availability! You should be good! I agree with the other post of booking at your home resort at 11 month and then switching it if its available. Good luck!
