So, this may seem a little long winded, sorry… lol
We have a week-long one bedroom VGC reservation in Sept. (which feels miraculous to me, since it’s not our home resort) With the Oogie Boogie Bash announcement, we decided to do a party on our check in day, since we don’t have park plans until the next day.
Hubs has work training the week after we check out, so we’ll be down there for 2 1/2 weeks total, and have the whole weekend (after our vacation) before he checks in for that. We figured since we have nothing else planned, we may as well do another OBB the day we check out, too. We have to check out of the Grand, and need to find a hotel that‘s close, but I thought I‘d try to waitlist a studio and the grand, and hope and pray that by some miracle, we could just stay there one more night and not have to leave the hotel. (Even though we‘ll have to change rooms)
We’ve never stayed on points at GCH, just regular hotel rooms with military discounts. Should I not even bother to get my hopes up that the waitlist comes through, or do I have any kind of chance at it, since it’s just one night? Waitlist expires Aug. 23, so I figured I’d have time to find something else if it doesn’t work out...
