We have a ressie for Ariel's Grotto Princess Dinner at 4:10 on Sunday. When I made the reservation we only had 4 people going. Then we had to add 2 more people. I called and they didn't have anything available for lunch or dinner but they did for breakfast. Now our party is up to 7. They have no more reservation spots to fit 7. If I keep my reservation for 4 do you think we will still be seated if we have 7 with us?:confused3

To do that they'd have to take someone else's table away. Unless they can put you on the walk in list, you can't almost double your group size and still fit in. Unfortunately this one ends up coming down to the laws of physics. :(

I doubt if they will seat 7 for a 4 person ressie.

Can't you book a table for 3 for the other party members? It seems rude and unlikely that you can stretch your reservation, but they may put the 2 tables near each other or something.

I would highly doubt that. I mean if it was one more person, I'd say you had a good chance. But almost doubling it? Probably not! I'd go ask if maybe someone didn't show or something, but I wouldn't count on it!

The gal I spoke to told me to keep my reservation and then when we got there to let them know if they could accomodate us if not to put us on the list. Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was putting people out of their own seats they had reserved. I don't think it would be rude to get there and ask if it's possible. If it's not possible we move on with our lives and eat somewhere else. Not a big deal to us at all.
